In honor of the upcoming Netflix’s Exploding Kittens series (debuting on July 12 — tomorrow!), fans will find a giant, 21-foot-tall, flame-bearing cat statue at the convention.
Fans who stop by the Petco Interactive Zone can take in the supersized Devilcat, which is complete with flames, fake smoke, games, and plushies.
The series is inspired by the best-selling card game, and follows a battle of epic proportions when God and the Devil are sent to Earth, in the form of house cats. The new series is produced by comedy legends Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, and the voice cast includes Tom Ellis (Lucifer) as Godcat and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Woke) as Devilcat.
There is no badge required to enter the Petco Interactive Zone, and fans who stop by will find the Exploding Kittens team on-site giving away Godcat and Devilcat plushies to the first 250 guests each day, as well as Exploding Kittens: Good vs Evil games so you can play along with the show at home.
The activation will be open during regular Petco Interactive Zone hours:
