Hungry for San Diego Comic-Con News? The Convention Center Chocolate Is Back!

The San Diego Convention Center is once again making this year’s San Diego Comic-Con even sweeter.

The annual exclusive chocolate bars are back, and Sodexo Live! Executive Chef Sufi Karaien and Pastry Chef Kristianna Zabala have teamed up for four brand new flavors to delight attendees. Just as normal, the bars will be sold at a booth in Lobby 20, near Ballroom 20, for $10 each.

Also just like normal, four of the chocolate bars will contain a special Golden Ticket inside, which can be redeemed for a $100 Starbucks gift card.

With all of that said, let’s look at this year’s flavors:

  • First in Line Bar: The “First in Line” bar is a celestial treat for the most ardent Hall H fans at Comic-Con, blending milk chocolate with puffed rice, Cinnamon Toast Crunch™, a hint of coffee, and marshmallows for an out-of-this-world s’more experience.

  • Pirate Potion: Lost on your tropical treasure hunt? Sip your way to survival with the “Pirate Potion” bar, a swashbuckling blend of white chocolate, tangy dried pineapple, zesty lime, and coconut, topped off with a sprinkle of key lime zest for that extra kick. This bar is sure to be your sweetest ally on any island adventure.

  • Sunday Sundae: Relive the classic flavors of your childhood Sundays with the “Sunday Sundae” bar. This treat combines rich milk chocolate with swirls of caramel, and is dotted with bananas, strawberries, and cherries, all tied together with a hint of vanilla and a crunchy peanut topping. It’s a deliciously nostalgic way to savor those laid-back weekend vibes any day of the week.

  • Moonlight Voyage: Embark on a Moonlight Voyage bar adventure, where sweet serenity sails under the stars. This unique creation blends creamy white chocolate with exotic dried miso and nutty black sesame, punctuated by bursts of tart dried strawberries. It’s a celestial delight crafted to ignite the curiosity of every nocturnal explorer with its worldly flavors.

Now that you know what this year’s chocolate bar flavors are, the next most important question is: But how do they taste? Parks & Cons is here with a review of the four new chocolate bars, as well as a closer look.
