Julien’s Auctions Hosting “Harry Potter” & Movie Memorabilia Auction to Benefit Comic-Con Museum

San Diego Comic-Con is a place where you can experience movies like never before — you can often see the stars of your favorite franchises up on the Hall H stage, or possibly even meet them at an autograph signing, or learn about what goes into creating a film behind-the-scenes. But now, thanks to Julien’s Auctions, you could celebrate films in a whole new way by bringing home a piece of them with you.

Julien’s Auctions and TCM are heading to San Diego Comic-Con for a special Spotlight Series: Harry Potter & Other Heroes exhibit and auction, which will feature movie props, wardrobe, and production materials from iconic pop culture films, including Harry Potter, the Batman franchise, Superman, Marvel Studios films, X-2: X-Men United, Looney Tunes, and more.

Some highlights from the auction include a Slytherin House Student Robe, a Captain America: The First Avenger stunt USO shield, an original unused Batman cowl designed for Christian Bale from The Dark Knight, and more.

You can view the items at the public exhibition from July 15 – July 28 at the Comic-Con Museum, ahead of the online auction set for Sunday, July 28 at 10am PT. To register for the auction, you can visit their website.

There will also be with other activities and special guest appearances to be announced in the coming weeks leading up to the event.

To visit the exhibition, you can purchase tickets to the Comic-Con Museum now for $25, with discounts for seniors, military, juniors, and youths. Children six years or younger may attend for free.

There is a Buyer’s Premium on all items, of $25 for items with a final hammer price under $100, and 27% for all items above $100.

The auction will also pay tribute to Warner Brothers Consumer Products’ legendary founder, Dan Romanelli, featuring a personal collection. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Comic Con Museum.

Best of all, this is only the beginning — as Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies plan to produce yearly flagship events and experiences with the Comic-Con Museum.
