[UPDATE June 5]
Following the success of the premiere of their film at San Diego Comic-Con, they have gone on to create a Lumpia Deep Fried Universe comic book series, to expand the world of the films.
They are currently holding a Kickstarter for their first non-Lumpia comic book though, titled The Ones and Twos. The comic is set in the 90’s, where you’ll follow a group of teenagers who team up to form their own mobile DJ group – The Xtremes, navigating the beat drops and remixing their way through high school life.
The comic reached its funding today, but there are still five more days to reach their stretch goal. As a thank you, Kid Heroes Productions revealed that they will be debuting the first issue of The Ones and Twos at San Diego Comic-Con, alongside new Lumpia Deep Fried Universe books.
Stay tuned for more details, and you can back the Kickstarter now.
