Fan-owned production company Legion M has been steadily growing their footprint at San Diego Comic-Con and in the entertainment industry at large and 2024 will be no different. They have several projects in the works and a lot to be excited about.
This year, you can find then at booth #4022 in the exhibit with new merchandise, some signings and also a few panels. Let’s take a look at all the details:

Pick up a copy of William Shatner: You Can Call Me Bill – Blu-ray or DVD at the Legion M booth and you’ll receive a free limited edition pin. This release will be ahead of the street date so you can be one of the very first people to own this definitive documentary.
You can also get a variant version of the William Shatner: You Can Call Me Bill Poster by illustrator Paul Shipper. This commemorative variant poster was designed and produced by Shipper, award-winning illustrator, Legion M Investor, and longtime friend of our fan-owned company. An extremely limited number of copies (signed by William Shatner, himself) will be available exclusively at booth #4022.
Defiant: The Story of Robert Smalls will have several exclusive items to celebrate the release of issue #1 of the comic. Two new ultra soft double sided screen printed tees will be available as well as limited edition variant covers of issue #1, made in collaboration with Stranger Comic. And an enamel pin with a Shaft homage (“Shut your mouth!”) will only be available at the booth.
For those wanting to know more about DEFIANT: The Story of Robert Smalls, there will be a panel on Friday, July 26 at 3:30 pm in Room 6A. Journey into the captivating narrative of Robert Smalls, an unsung hero whose incredible saga is immortalized within the pages of Defiant, a riveting graphic novel brought to life by Legion M – and soon to be a feature film. Explore the gripping tale of Smalls’ daring escapade during the Civil War, orchestrating a bold heist by commandeering a Confederate warship to deliver his loved ones to freedom in the North. But that was just the beginning! Join a dynamic panel featuring screenwriter Rob Edwards (Academy Award® nominated The Princess and The Frog & Treasure Planet), producer Marvin Jones (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Halo, Black Lightning), acclaimed artist Ray-Anthony Height (Studio SKYE-TIGER), creative force and producer Sebastian A Jones of Stranger Comics (Niobe Series), Legion M Producer Chris Cooper, and special guest Dr. Felicia Singleton from the San Diego County Office of Education, for an electrifying exploration of courage, resilience, and the profound impact of storytelling.
After the panel journey to Stranger Comics Booth #2307 from 5pm – 6pm for an autograph signing by Rob Edwards and Marvin Jones III from the DEFIANT team.
On Saturday, after the panel for The Man in the White Van (see details below) you can meet cast including Madison Wolfe, Brec Bassinger and Skai Jackson for an autograph signing. The signing will be at the Legion M booth, #4022 from 6pm – 6:50pm. Mini posters will be available for them to autograph.

The Man in the White Van is hitting the road and heading to San Diego Comic-Con for a haunting entrance. Attendees can join the ensemble cast and creative team for a panel on Saturday, July 27 from 4:15pm-5:15pm in the Indigo Ballroom at the Bayfront.
Relativity Media has acquired Warren Skeels’ thriller The Man in the White Van for a wide theatrical release on October 11 from Garrison Film and the fan-owned entertainment company, Legion M, and to celebrate, they’re heading to the convention.
Fans at the panel will find a stellar lineup including Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things), Madison Wolfe (The Conjuring 2), Brec Bassinger (CW’s Stargirl), Gavin Warren (Night Swim), Skai Jackson (Jessie), and writer/director Warren Skeels.
Based on the true-crime tales of the 1970s that instilled a deep-seated fear of unmarked cargo vans among generations, the film unfolds the harrowing story of Annie Williams, whose encounters with a mysterious stalker escalate into a terrifying ordeal, challenging her family’s disbelief and her own safety.
