Hosnian Prom

Get ready to blast into Hyperspace with the annual Star Wars cosplay group’s bash, as hosted by the Imperial Sands Garrison, Scarif Base, Haran’galaar Clan, Jedha Temple, San Diego Droid Builders, and The Crimson Empire Spire. Note: For now, it is only open to their members, but they typically open it to everyone at a later date. Ticket sales are now open to everyone.

This year’s iteration is the “Hosnian Prom“, and you’re invited to a party on Thursday, July 25 from 6pm-11pm at Wicked West (1735 National Ave), with proceeds benefitting the Starlight Children’s Foundation in their mission to bring happiness to hospitalized kids.

Throw on your finest galactic prom attire and get ready to party like it’s 1999 in a galaxy far, far away. The party will feature Mesmerizing Cantina Hour Crooning by Jeremy Russell, Instellar Beats and Cosmic Melodies by DJ RUE, Celestial Choreography and Ethereal Motion of the Corps Dance Crew, and The Unforgettable Return of The Force Capacitors.

General admission tickets are $123.87 ($115 + $8.87 in fees) and include “a donation to Starlight Children’s Foundation, catering, open bar, amazing entertainment, and swag (yes, SWAG!).”

The event is 18+ only.
