The Nerd Machine has started announcing their first wave of panels for their 5th annual “Conversations for a Cause” at Nerd HQ, which will once again be at the New Children’s Museum.

The schedule includes Zachary Levi, Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Stephen Amell, cast members of Teen Wolf, Supernatural, Orphan Black, ColonyDrunk HistoryWorkaholicsCon Man, and more. [UPDATE] The second wave of conversations include the men of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Scott Bakula, Robot Chicken, a second Stephen Amell and Zachary Levi panel, and more.

As with years past, we can likely expect panels to be added as we get closer to the convention, and we will update this post accordingly. In fact, in years past, Conversation panels were added DURING the convention itself, so be sure to keep an eye out.

  • Sarah

I hope you add Original Team Arrow Panel with Stephen Amell, David Ramsey & Emily Bett Rickards, please.

  • Cindy

Question: Orphan Black has a panel from 4:30-5:30. They will be at Nerd HQ @ 6. HQ wants us to be there half an hour early. Will I make it to the second event if I walk really fast??

  • Maybe, but you’d be REALLY pushing it

  • Caseymc5

Why can’t there be a Stephen panel & an OTA (Stephen Amell, David Ramsey & Emily Bett Rickards) panel too⁉️??

  • Eric Bennett

How many seats can you buy for a single event? 1? 2? More?

  • Eric Bennett

Can you buy for more than one event at a time? Or do you have to complete one event, then try for another?

  • Christina

Stephen Amell is my dream! Every year I try to get tickets and every year I fail. Maybe this will be my year!

  • Sandra Schmidt

Any idea if Dylan O’Brien will be there for the Teen Wolf panel? I was really hoping for another The Maze Runner panel but it’s totally understandeable there isn’t this year, under recent circumstances. Hopefully next year again. 🙂 Super excited for all these panels! You guys rock, thanks for doing these every year, they’re my favorite thing about sdcc!

  • mimi

I would really love to get the orphan black conversation. Instead of spending all day Friday waiting for it 🙂 good luck to us all this go so quick.

    What time on July 15th?

  • Cindy

Ahh, I can’t decide which to go to: the panel or the conversation! Are you planning on doing both?

Will they do autographs during these sessions?

  • Mack- -intosh

Tried to get a spot, but they were sold out as soon as the clock hit 6am.
    How is that even possible?

  • Rode Arevalo

Well, once the tickets are for sale at specific time, everyone is getting a ticket at the same time. You would have to get the tickets within seconds after the clock strikes 6:00 am. I had a timer to hit the refresh button within the seconds it became 6:30 am for the Jai Courtney panel, which I got two tickets. Last year, I did the same thing in order to get Supernatural tickets.

  • Rode Arevalo

It depends on whether the description of the panel states that there will do autographs. Some of the panel guests have done it in the past. I got an autograph in 2013 from Mark Millar, the artist for Kickass, & the director of Kickass 2. I do not know this year so just check on any updates.

What time on Monday will the second wave tickets be available?

  • 2!
