Although badges for WonderCon 2016 haven’t yet gone on sale, there’s another way to attend the popular San Diego Comic-Con sister show convention: volunteering.
The Toucan Blog announced that volunteer registration for 2016 for WonderCon is now open, for all three days of the show (and with the possibility to also volunteer prior to show opening). Each assignment will be 2-3 hours long, and those who volunteer will receive a free badge for each day they work the show.
Simply login to your Member ID and click the Volunteering tab, and following the instructions there. The registration occurs on a first come, first served basis, and will be open until all slots are taken.
There’s no word yet on when Comic-Con International volunteer registration, or when WonderCon badge sales, will take place.
You can read the full announcement on the Toucan Blog.
