We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. The “unofficial start of summer” usually brings families together for picnics and barbecues. Mom and dad take the cover off the pool, and we’re finally able to dip our toes into the water. As for us here at the UBlog, we stayed on top of all things San Diego Comic-Con (in between helpings of hot dogs and potato salad). The internet never sleeps, so neither do we.
Here’s a look at what you might have missed:
- Cancer Gets LOST wants to remind us they still have one ticket to the exclusive Wynonna Earp SDCC 2017 party. If you know someone who has beaten cancer and also loves Wynonna Earp, please get in touch with Cancer Gets LOST, so they can send them to San Diego.
Earpers! We have 1 ticket to exclusive #WynonnaEarp #SDCC party we'd like to give to a cancer survivor. Pls let us know if you know anyone 💜 pic.twitter.com/TWj9oTAALG

- If you think we’ve been busy, you should see what artist Camilla d’Errico has been up to. Over the long weekend, she posted her Pikachu work-in-progress for her “Summer Safari” series she will have available at SDCC 2017. Later, she posted her list of scheduled cons, which included SDCC 2017, of course. She also showed us her new book, Femina and Fauna, which she will debut at SDCC 2017. Finally, she showed us more of her Rainbow Lion from her “Summer Safari” series. Does she ever sleep?

- If you saw NECA’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exclusive announcement, and chances are you did, you’re asking how you can get a hold of these if you’re not going to SDCC. You may not have to resort to eBay just yet. NECA announced that they will make a limited quantity available for pre-order for non-attendees. These pre-orders will ship the week of San Diego Comic-Con, so it’ll kind of be like you’re there.
