Under the Tents: J. Scott Campbell, Nickelodeon, SoCal Bronies, California Browncoats

We have another edition of Under the Tents to offer you today with lots more to talk about. In this column, look for news from J. Scott Campbell, the SoCal Bronies, Sean Forney, and a whole lot more. And of course, there’s crochet. There’s always crochet.

Here’s a look at what you might have missed:

  • Exhibit A Press will debut a new book at SDCC 2017 at Booth #1909 – Supernatural Law: The Missing Links. This three-story paperback is limited to 100 copies, and any that are left over from Comic-Con will be available online.

  • The SoCal Bronies announced they are having a meet-up during SDCC on Saturday, July 22 at 8:30PM PT at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. If you’re interested in meeting up with fellow Bronies, you can RSVP here.

  • We all love that magical feeling we get when we walk the Exhibit Halls at San Diego Comic-Con. If you want to express that feeling to everyone, Bored Inc. has just the exclusive for you. Head to Booth #609 for their “I Am Magical” enamel pin and sticker set. Any items left over from SDCC will be available for purchase on their site after the con.

  • It wouldn’t be a day without crochet. Moon’s Creations showed off their Big Foot critter, which will be included in Geeky Hooker’s critter drops during SDCC.

  • FreedomPleaseOrg and Walk with Him are hosting a Batman Remembrance Gathering on the stairs of the Convention Center in memory of the late Adam West. Visit their Facebook Events page for details and to let them know you’ll be there.

  • Artist Sean Forney showed off his Wolverine and Psylocke sketch card commissions as works-in-progress. Whoever ordered these are getting some great pieces. Look for great works like these when you visit him in Artists Alley at Table #AA-15.
