If you’re trekking to Anaheim this weekend to attend WonderCon, you’ll want to visit local San Diego publishers IDW, especially if you’re a fan of Sonic: The Hedgehog. IDW is hosting Sonic’s author, Ian Flynn, who will have signings for Sonic #1 at Booth #1109 all weekend long (see their complete schedule below).
Not a Sonic: The Hedgehog fan? Not a problem. IDW is also premiering the fourth and final of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Tempest at WCA this year.
IDW also has new, hot-off-the-press convention variant covers to debut at WonderCon.
You’ll find the following titles at their booth:
- Sonic #1 – Cover by Tracy Yardley – $10
- Ghostbusters: Crossing Over #1 – Photo cover – $10
- G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #250 – Cover by Netho Diaz – $10
- Star Wars: Forces of Destiny Virgin Cover Set – Covers by Elsa Charretier – $25
- Clue TPB – Variant cover by Gabriel Rodriguez – $20
- Star Trek: Mirror Broken TPB – Variant cover by J.K. Woodward – $25
- Two New My Little Pony Pin Packs – $30 each – *Free print included with purchase of both
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Did IDW forget to bring your favorite title to WonderCon? Not a problem. This year, IDW will have an online ordering system at their booth that will allow you to order anything from their catalog right on the spot. They’re even offering free domestic shipping (sorry international attendees).
If you have a healthy convention budget and like mystery swag, IDW is also offering a free bonus Mystery Pack to any customer who spends $100 or more at their booth. It will have some rare variants, signed exclusives, and more, so it’s definitely worth it.
