The wait for Adult Swim fans is over and — yes! — On the Green is returning, now in a new State Park format! (Nature? What’s that?).
But first things first – Adult Swim will be holding autograph signings for three of their series on Saturday, July 21 in the Sails Pavilion Autograph Area. Drawing for tickets will begin at 9AM on Saturday morning. Here’s that schedule:
The Venture Bros. | 12P-1P
Dream Corp LLC | 1:30-2:30P
Robot Chicken | 3-4P
Now onto the offsite! Adult Swim on the Green is back again for San Diego Comic-Con 2018. They’re building their own “State Park” for con attendees, where you can stop by and enjoy a relaxing afternoon watching some chainsaw-wielding wood carvers and get your buns toasted on our mechanical hot dog roaster. You’ll also be able to visit the camp store so you can stock up on merch.
Adult Swim On the Green will again be located right behind the convention center at 5th Avenue Landing and Convention Way. Entrance to their State Park is free for those 18 and up, and will be open Thursday, July 19 – Sunday, July 22, from 4PM to 2AM (with other festivities open earlier). Amenities of the park include all-new games like canoe races and archery contests, chainsaw-wielding wood carvers, merit badges and tasty eats from the hot dog roaster. Lockers from State Farm will be on-site to keep your stuff safe while you jump in canoes to race other campers. Campers will also be able to collect merit badges by making the most of their park experience. Look for Badge Badger and State Farm brand ambassadors, who will be awarding badges to stand-out campers who are best prepared for the con (think sunscreen and hydration!). You can see the State Park’s full evening schedule below – including fan events for Rick & Morty and Venture Bros (note that the Rick & Morty event involves a lottery)!
Also open each day starting at 8AM will be the Camp Store, a must for all campers to stock up on exclusive Adult Swim merchandise. A SDCC badge is required for purchase.
Campers both in the park and all around the country will enjoy live broadcasts of staple streaming shows including FishCenter, Stupid Morning Bullshit, Williams Street Swap Shop, and more! Celebrity guests will be stopping by throughout the convention to chat all weekend long. The streams will be live starting at 3PM Pacific time Thursday through Sunday and run late into the night. Fans stuck in line (or at home) can watch anywhere live at AdultSwim.com.
