Wonderpost: Dan Veesenmeyer, toddland, California Browncoats, Greg Capullo, Scott Snyder

With just over 17 days left until WonderCon, it’s coming down to the wire for many artists and exhibitors. While some still have their commissions list open, many are now closing them in order to prepare for the con. Some are even beginning to show off their exclusives, which is always a big treat for us. Read our latest Wonderpost to find out who’s still taking commissions and showing off new art for WonderCon.

Here’s a look at what you might have missed:

  • We’re all stoked for our good friends at toddland to open their WonderCon pre-sale this week. In the meantime, they posted a little teaser to Twitter.

  • Artists Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder are having a VIP event during WonderCon and want to invite you. Held at 7PM on Saturday, March 30 at the Anaheim Hilton. You don’t need a WonderCon badge to attend, but you do need a ticket you can purchase here. That ticket gets you exclusive prints, lithographs, and autographs from both artists.

  • If you’re looking for a party that’s a little less “VIP”, Ratt Haus Production would like you to join them at the Unsung Brewing Co. on Saturday, March 30 at 6:30PM for their WonderCon after-party. Hang out with artist Jonboy Meyers and cosplayer Krystle Starr while you try to win some awesome WonderCon exclusives.

  • The California Browncoats are looking for volunteers to help for a few hours each day at their WonderCon booth. The Firefly-themed non-profit needs some help raising money for their charity. So get your pretty little bonnet to Booth #1092 and help this great organization out.

  • Another artist who has opened WonderCon commissions is LEGO artist Dan Veesenmeyer. See his Instagram post below for instructions on how you can order.

  • Artist Scott Blair has closed his WonderCon pre-order list, but you’ll still find lots of original sketches, pin-ups, and prints at Table #A-29 in Artists’ Alley.

  • Artist Morghan Gill showed off one of her new enamel pins she’ll have with her to debut at Table #D-36 in WonderCon’s Artists’ Alley.
