Under the Tents: Bosslogic, Van Helsing, The Orville, Peter Santa-Maria, DC Universe, California Browncoats

Sunday is the day of rest — but not where Comic-Con news is concerned. Today, we’ve got news that Bosslogic himself is heading to SDCC, as well as positive signs for some of your favorite sci-fi series, exclusives, and more.

Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:

  • Twitter sensation, artist Bosslogic, is heading to San Diego Comic-Con for the first time next month. You can find him at Booth #817, where he’ll be signing and more.

  • Zoom, zoom! Don’t let this adorable print from Brett Bean speed past you — pick it up yourself at Booth #5553.

  • Artist Patrick Ballesteros must surely be closing in on his goal of 100 mini-originals for the convention. At any rate, he’s added these two Wynonna Earp pieces, available on a TBA date first come/first serve in the morning.

  • Excelsior! PopCult Plushies has created an all-too adorable tribute to the late Stan Lee, which they’ll be dropping on Thursday, July 18. Make sure you watch their Twitter to try to catch him.

  • If you need more crochet for your SDCC news fix, Nifty Neuron is also working on a Golden Snitch to drop at the con.

  • While not crochet, Kimi E Crafts will be doing paper crafts drops during the convention, including this Peanuts piece. Do the Snoopy dance!

  • While not exact confirmation, the showrunner for SYFY’s Van Helsing believes the series will be at SDCC next month. We shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to find out.

  • Artist Peter Santa-Maria showed off some new stickers which will be available at the con. Santa-Maria is this year’s Kevin Workman Foundation recipient, and you can learn more about him in the spotlight we did earlier this year.

  • Looks like fans of DC Universe streaming series will have at least a little more to be excited about on the programming schedule this year. Gina DeDomenico Flanagan, Costume Concept Artist for Stargirl and Doom Patrol, will be part of a Women of DC Streaming panel. No word yet on if cast will also be appearing.

  • We’re a little in love with these tiki pieces from George “Geo” Davis, at Small Press L-14. You might have to beat us to them, though.

  • Sitcomics is bringing a SDCC exclusive family-owned horror anthology, Barbra Macabre’s Morbid Museum #1.1, to SDCC next month at Small Press K-04.

  • Rob Hanes Adventures #20 will be released at Sa Diego Comic-Con this year. Visit cartoonist and 2018 Inkpot award winner Randy Reynaldo at Small Press K-01 to pick it up.

  • Bling Squared Cute Glass have been working on all new pieces for the convention. You can check out their glass sculptures, like this kitty piece and other one-of-a-kind pieces, at E-05.

  • If you’d like to get on Alex Sinclair’s commission list, you’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer. He’ll be opening his list “about a week before” SDCC,
