Under the Tents: Stephen Amell, Borderlands 3, Adam McArthur, Marieve Herington, Chris Uminga

Are you as exhausted as we are just trying to keep up with all the news? Well, in tonight’s very late PM edition, you can catch up on commissions lists, an update on the Arrow panel, art, and more.

Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:

  • When Warner Bros. TV schedule was released yesterday, you may have found yourself asking, “But who is going to be on the panels?” Of course, it wouldn’t be a farewell to Arrow without series star Stephen Amell – and he didn’t leave fans guessing for long, as he confirmed on Facebook that he’ll be back.

  • Hold me closer, Tony Daniel… Sorry, we had to. Artist Tony S. Daniel will be at Booth #817 next month, where he’ll have original art, prints, variants, and much more. His pre-convention commissions list is also now open, so be sure to contact him to get on it.

  • But wait! There’s MORE commission news, this time from Mike Doherty, who opened his commissions list for sketch covers, sketch cards, or 9×12 or 11×17 pieces. Doherty will be at Booth #1600 with Touch Markers on the show floor.

  • Artist Adam T. Gorham has also opened up an “extremely limited” list of commissions for San Diego Comic-Con, so don’t delay to get on his list.

  • If you thought we were finished, think again. Artist Sara Richard opened her list today to Patreon backers only, though any available space will open to everyone tomorrow.

  • Alright, now we’re done. Mario Wytch, best known for his work on Sister Powers, will be at Keenspot Booth #2635 signing during the week.

  • Artist Joe M. Kennedy showed off a work-in-progress Optimus Prime piece he’ll be bringing to Artists’ Alley II-04.

  • Borderlands 3 won’t release until September, but fans are going to get a closer look at it next month.

  • Wunderkind Ethan Castillo, aka a 14-year-old with a whole lot of talent, revealed a look at new Spider-Man original he’s bringing with him to the exhibit floor.

  • If you’re looking to get a taste for the world of video, The Beat is currently looking for a Production Assistant to assist with their camera crew. Not only will you score a badge for the entire show, but you’ll also get a small daily stipend. Go let them know if you’re interested.

  • Artists Chris Uminga and Chrissie Zullo are always some of our favorite stops in Artists’ Alley, and this year you can pick-up this Jokers “Clowns” piece from Uminga at BB-18.

  • Star vs The Forces of Evil voice actor Adam McArthur and Big City Greens voice actress Marieve Herington are bringing back their popular Super Awesome Boba Meet-Up. No word yet on when it will go up, but spots go fast – and it’s a fun time for fans.

  • Artist Morghan Gill is bringing along a Mothman mini painting to SDCC – and may have more.
