Marvel Studios is back, baby.
Just as they promised last year when they skipped San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Deadline reports that Marvel Studios is planning to return to SDCC this summer.
While details are scarce on exactly what they’ll bring (will we get the Phase 4 slate? Will it be focused on Disney+ series with a little Black Widow footage sprinkled in?), you can start getting hyped exactly right now.
Earlier this year during the Avengers: EndgameĀ press junket,Ā Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gave an interesting answer to IGN, when he said that to even reveal whether or not the studio would attend the convention this year would be a spoiler.
āI donāt wanna be annoying, but I think it ā¦ In a certain way, that is also sort of a post-Endgamespoiler,ā Feige told IGN.
He clarified slightly, adding that, āI will say all of the post Comic-Con, postĀ Spider-Man: Far From Homestuff, we ā¦ Hereās an exclusive. Weāre gonna keep making movies. Weāre gonna still keep making movies after these two. And we will talk about them soon afterĀ Spider-Man: Far From HomeĀ comes out.ā
WithĀ Spider-Man: Far From Home out in just a few weeks, it sounds like they’re gearing up to reveal a whole lot more.
The city of San Diego is already getting all dressed up for the big event, with MarvelĀ Avengers: Engdame banners going up in the Gaslamp and surrounding areas in recent days.
