Toynami, Inc. San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Exclusives [UPDATE July 16]

Toynami, Inc. always has some fun exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con, whether it’s last year’s Naruto with Scroll or their Hello Sanrio mini diorama sets. This year’s will be no different, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store.

Here’s a look at Toynami’s offerings for 2019:

Robotech Postcard Set

This is the EXCLUSIVE set of Robotech postcards that will only be available during Jamie Sullivan’s signings at the Toynami Booth (#3229) Thursday through Saturday at 1PM-3PM. This is a set of images showcasing the incredible scale of the Robotech mecha on Macross Island. They’re printed on beautiful 110lb gloss stock and collected in a gorgeous vellum envelope with the RDF Logo emblazoned on the front, and limited to 100 pieces for $20 each. Jamie has also devised a special “scavenger hunt” to go along with the set that will score you some original art. Details on the hunt will be given to you when you purchase your set at his signing.

Robotech X eepmon – VF-1S Skull Leader Aviator Flight Jacket – $300

This highly limited and numbered jacket is based directly off a real fighter pilot jacket and adorned with over 10 iconic Robotech symbols and patches curated by EEPMON. This Black 100% Polyester jacket (with lightweight Polyester Fill) features a die cast metal VF-1S zipper pull. The back of the jacket features a custom VF-1S Skull Leader image by EEPMON that blends seamlessly into the Robotech universe. Each jacket is custom made to order and individually numbered. Acid Rain Stealth Talos HR15e – $58

The Talos is a robotic unit created by combining the core components from the imported NAUS “Camelbot” and Laurel Inc’s bipedal system. It features a 3D vision system and multiple sensors, with the ability to dodge moving obstacles and even operate combat vehicles. The model is deployed for dangerous missions in heavily polluted areas.

Little Embers Iridescent Pearl Edition – $40

Officially licensed by Miyo. This exclusive iridescent pearl edition comes packed 5 styles in one box: Soot, Sparks, Cinder, Ash and Flames! Each one is approximately 2.5” tall. Artist: Miyo, sculptor and creator of Miyo’s Mystic Musings.

Toy-Wizards has the details on Toynami’s first San Diego Comic-Con exclusive of the year — a Calibre Wings Robotech 1:72 VF-1S Fighter Valkyrie “Farewell Big Brother“. The fighter plane features bullet holes damage, soot effects, and a bloodied ejection seat, and comes complete with a posable pilot. It’s a screen accurate representation of the model for the season one episode of Robotech. It’s limited to 300 pieces, and while the exact price isn’t known yet, it will retail for $130. We’ll update when we know more.
