While many of us get ready for barbecues and picnics, we’re busy getting ready for SDCC in exactly two weeks. While we wait for CCI to release the schedule tomorrow, we have a Fourth of July-sized Under the Tents for you with news from Patrick Ballesteros, Brittney Lee, LeeAnna Vamp, and a lot more. ‘Murrica!
Here’s a look at what you might have missed:
- A collective sigh of relief was breathed among Earpers yesterday when it was announced that Season 4 of SYFY’s hit series Wynonna Earp would finally begin filming. Not only that, but they were bringing the creators and a few cast to SDCC for a panel. To celebrate this, the Earper Fan MeetUp announced it will definitely happen this year during SDCC, and we should expect details shortly.
- The Costume Designers Guild announced their special guests for SDCC 2019, which includes Gina Flanagan, Phil Boutte, and others.
- Four out of five dentists agree this next announcement may cause tooth decay (because it’s so dang sweet). According to Ash Evans’ Instagram feed, she’s got some adorable kitty beans on their way to Booth #4816 at SDCC.

- Another artist putting the finishing touches on her SDCC pieces is Nan Hockin, who took to Instagram to post her latest original she’ll have at Table #F-11. She may also have a few postcard prints to go along with it.

- The Springfield Avengers (mmm… donuts) series from Thumbs Design will be available at A Shop Called Quest’s Booth #4519. Worst. Thanos. Ever.

- Artist Cody Vrosh is bringing his latest painting, On Wing and Mourning, to Table #M-08 in Artists’ Alley. He’ll also have several prints of his latest piece available for purchase.

- The World of 3A is coming back to SDCC at the Ashley Wood Gallery Booth #3750 with exclusive Fang Gals, Edition Ultra TK’s, and some Stock Figures. You’ll also find some of Ashley Wood’s original art, limited edition prints, and Ash himself will visit the booth on Wednesday and Thursday.

- There’s going to be another long line at Table #DD-08 in Artists’ Alley for Patrick Ballesteros’s latest stickers he’s bringing with him to SDCC. Is it just me, or does anyone else hear “dude” every time Keanu Reeves says something?
- If you’ve made it this far in our mega-UTT, I salute you. Topps will be inside the Lucasfilm Pavilion (Booth #2913) with lots of Garbage Pail Kids events happening throughout the con. Because Garbage Pail Kids totally goes with Lucasfilm, right?
