Welcome to the GeekShot Photo Exclusive Series. This will be a regularly recurring post featuring cool, interesting, or just plain awesome moments we have captured during San Diego Comic-Con and WonderCon over the years. Each post will include a photo by Beth or James of GeekShot Photography. We may include a short story about the photo, but sometimes we’ll just let the photo speak for itself.
About This Photo
The San Diego Convention Center at the close of San Diego Comic-Con 2019.
I took this shortly after SDCC closed on Sunday evening. I had wandered out the doors and was looking around for any last-minute photos before heading to Pacey-Con. I thought I’d get some of the signs for whatever random post they could be used in throughout the year. I had my 50mm lens on the camera so I had to use my feet to “zoom out” in order to get the whole sign in the shot. Luckily we can walk in the road in front of the con now or I couldn’t have gotten this shot. And also luckily, I noticed the sun was in a perfect spot to get a sunburst. Definitely a nice way to end the con.
Did you catch any lucky shots this year? Let us know in the comments.
