We’ve got so much Comic-Con Special Edition news for you in today’s edition that you’re sure to leave stuffed. Are you hungry for news on comics? We’ve got the dish on great retailers like Torpedo Comics as well as several comics artists and writers. After fun art? Take your pick of entrees like Monkey Minion, Ollybits, and more. Panels, gaming, charities, Robotech, and Goat Metal Art are also all on the menu today.

Not on the menu? Us stopping with these food-themed puns any THYME soon.

Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:

  • Hey, San Diegans — are you looking for a job? The San Diego Convention Center is currently hiring full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities in multiple departments as they gear up for events again, including Comic-Con Special Edition. Visit their website to learn more.

  • Fans of Yaoi, rejoice. Yaoi Revolution, a US based publishing company focused on homoerotic comics and artwork, will be exhibiting at the con next month.

  • A picture is worth a thousand words — but artist Reilly Haney, also known as Detention Art, creates pictures using a thousand (or so) words. Haney creates stunning pop culture artwork crafted out of handwritten inked words, and you can check them out in Artists Alley this November. You can tell your mom from us that you are a real artist.

  • Fan favorite comic book artist Don Nguyen also announced that he’ll be exhibiting at CCSE, and you can bet he’ll have plenty of offerings with his creation Pablo the Gorillo.

  • Stack Up, a gaming charity supporting U.S. & Allied active duty military and veterans’ mental health through gaming and geek culture, will also be tabling at CCSE. Stop by to learn more about their cause.

  • You can find artist Misty Figs in Artists Alley this year.

  • Las Vegas based comics and collectibles retailer Torpedo Comics are hitting the road this fall, with their first stop at none other than Comic-Con Special Edition. Be sure to stop by to check out their selection of Silver & Bronze Age comics and more.

  • Comic artist and illustrator Paige Halsey Warren revealed that she was accepted as an exhibitor for the con next month.

  • Pixel artist and illustrator Ollybits also had good news to share — and accepts welcome presents in the form of boba. You’ll find all your favorite pop culture characters recreated in adorable pixel-form at her booth.

  • Metal Art is so last year — Goat Metal Art is where it’s at. Alaric Barca will be bringing his indie Goat Metal Art to Comic-Con Special Edition’s exhibit floor.

  • DC comic artist and the creator/writer of Stained, David Baron, will have a busy CCSE schedule. Not only will be tabling at the convention, but you can also find him on a panel with Slow City Blues and John Livesay.

  • Speaking of artist John Livesay, you can also find him in Artists Alley this November, which even for a longtime SDCC veteran, is a first.

  • If you love Robotech, then have we got an announcement for you! Comic-Con Special Edition will serve as the final stop on the franchise’s 2021 convention schedule. They’re sure to have toys, anime, and more.

  • Fluffy Fluppy Dogs are created to represent inclusivity, acceptance, kindness, and love for both the human and animal special needs communities. You can find their cartoon on MOKO this fall, their toys in select stores — and also at Comic-Con Special Edition in November.

  • Digital artist The Art of Gard will also be exhibiting this fall at the convention, in Artists Alley.
