WonderPost 2022: JYK All Day, CGC Comics, Sarah Leuver, Lumpia With A Vengeance

Film premieres, stickers, and autograph signings — oh my! As we inch closer to WonderCon Anaheim 2022, we have a full dose of news to share with you on the “who” and “what” you’ll find at the con this April 1-3.

Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:

  • Need to get your comic or trading card graded? Then good news, because CGC Comics will be on hand at both WonderCon and San Diego Comic-Con this year.

  • We’ve been a fan of cartoonist Sarah Leuver for years, and we’re excited to share that Sarah is bringing her patented adorable works of art to Artist Alley B-45.

  • Artist Alice Li Barnes, also known as “yumdarling”, is heading to WonderCon — and she’s bringing a new My Hero Academia Aizawa sticker.

  • And speaking of stickers — this Batman Beyond sticker is as adorable as it is dark and brooding. Artist Jin Yung Kim, also known as JYK All Day, will have it available both online and at WonderCon Artist Alley A-09.

  • This time, the lumpias hit harder. Lumpia with a Vengeance, the sequel to the Filipino cult classic film, is hitting the road and heading to WonderCon for a weekend full of exclusives, a screening, and more. Stay tuned for more details soon.

  • You can find creator and writer David Baron in Artist Alley E-24 this year, where he’ll have fresh copies of his book with artist Elisa Wikey, The Cobblestone Chronicles: Michael Versus the Babysitters.

  • We fully expect the WonderCon show floor to be announced any day now. But until then, we can share with you that author and illustrator, Kaveh Taherian, will be exhibiting at the con with writer John J. Pérez.

  • Star Wars and portrait artist Lee Kohse will have a “huge” gallery of art for those attending WonderCon, so be sure to stop by to peruse art from galaxies far, far away — and beyond..

  • Looking to get your Animal Crossing fix at WonderCon? Then let us suggest a stop at artist Lili Goldschmidt’s booth, where she will have fun prints and more.
