Under the Tents 2022: Wesley Snipes, Greg Capullo, James Silvani, Ethan Castillo

Monday blues got you down? Well, let us turn that frown upside down with news on San Diego Comic-Con, featuring autograph signings with Wesley Snipes, original art from some of your favorite artists, panel news, and more.

Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:

  • Calling all American Dad fans — Toddland wants to know if you’re interested in a Billy pin for San Diego Comic-Con.

  • One must-so panel on our list this year is “Real or Fake?”, a game-show type panel hosted by Darren Shulman (co-host of the Shulbros Week in Review and Through the Lens podcasts) and Jon Kuang. In the panel, contestants will have to decide if a comic character or plot is … real or fake. Panelists include Shawn “Big Clutch” Kirk (SVP, Skybound Entertainment), Terry Mayo (Comic Creator, The Wicked Righteous), Don Nguyen (Pablo the Gorilla, Upper Deck Marvel Anime), Christie Shinn (creator of Demon Bitch and Personal Monsters), Leonard Sultana (The Convention Collective), Alanah Tweedy (The Convention Collective), and Fawaz Qashat. Attendees who play along using Twitter will have a chance to win Funko Pop!s.
  • Comic artist and creator J. Crager confirmed that he’ll be at SDCC this year on Friday at the Whatnot booth, where he’ll be signing and sketching… alongside actor Wesley Snipes and artist Gabriel “Eskivo” Santos. Snipes and Santos have worked together to create The Exiled, a comic following Detective Niles “Roach” Washington as he pursues a serial killer five thousand years in the makings and uncovers Earth’s darkest secret. A crowdsourcing campaign for the comic opens in a few days.
