Under the Tents: Todd McFarlane, Le Petit Elefant, Geeky Hooker, Monkey Minion Press

We made it; we’re one Friday closer to San Diego Comic-Con 2022. We’re ending the work week with some adorable posts from The Geeky Hooker, Le Petit Elefant, and BeeFy & Co. We’re balancing out that cuteness with some announcements from Todd McFarlane and Ozzy Osbourne, too, so we have a little something for everyone today.

Here’s a look at some of the news you might have missed:

  • Boba never looked so cute. No, we’re not talking about the infamous fictional bounty hunter; we’re talking about these adorable, hand-made felt pins from artist Nan Hockin. She’ll be killing us with cuteness this year at Table #F-11 in Small Press.

  • Queen of Crochet Geeky Hooker shared a recent blog post with her followers outlining her entire critter drop line-up for SDCC this year. Make sure you’re following her on Twitter and/or Instagram to get your hands on one of these crocheted cuties.

  • Ever since I was a young boy, I played the silver ball. Pinball wizards rejoice! Stern Pinball replied to an eager Twitter query confirming that they’re bringing their pinball room back to SDCC this year.

  • Norm! DC Comics artist Norm Rapmund confirmed via Twitter that he will be at SDCC this year at Table #II-02 in Artists Alley and will be taking commissions. Keep an eye on our commissions post for details on how to order a commission when they become available.

  • We’re always excited to see Monkey Minion Press’s SDCC exclusive prints, and this year will be no exception. We only have this blurry image (no, it’s not your glasses) they teased for now, but look for the finished product coming very soon.

  • Firefly fan organization California Browncoats are celebrating 20 years of Joss Whedon’s space western masterpiece with some shiny new keychains they’ll have with them at Table #A7-A8 at SDCC this year. If you can’t make it to the con, don’t fret; they’ll also be available on Etsy.

  • Genevieve Santos, better known to her friends and SDCC as Le Petit Elefant, will be bringing 200 copies of this adorable Turning Red print to Small Press Table #L-07 at SDCC this year.

  • Todd McFarlane is going off the rails with Ozzy Osbourne again. This time, McFarlane provided illustrations for Osbourne’s latest music video for his single “Patient Number 9.” According to comicbook.com, McFarlane will be announcing some “add-ons” to this collaboration at or around SDCC this year, so we’ll be excited to see what the two Princes of Darkness have come up with.
