Paramount+ isn’t skimping on content for San Diego Comic-Con where they will have panels, activation, interactive booths, free ice cream and much, much more.
Star Trek will be beaming into Hall H for a panel on Saturday, July 23 from 12:45pm – 2:15pm where moderator, actress and Star Trek: Picard Season 2 director Lea Thompson (Back to the Future) will engage in back to back conversations, teases, surprises and more across three series, including:
- Star Trek: Picard with stars Patrick Stewart and Gates McFadden, alongside executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry.
- Star Trek: Lower Decks with voice cast Jack Quaid, Tawny Newsome, Noël Wells and Dawnn Lewis, creator and executive producer Mike McMahan, and executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry.
- Star Trek: Strange New Worlds making it’s Hall H debut with debut with cast members Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding and the latest addition to the cast, Paul Wesley. Executive producers Henry Alonso Myers, Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry will also appear.
There’s plenty more Star Trek to be found, though. The previously announced offsite for 10 FORWARD has been sold out for awhile, but if you weren’t fast enough, you’ll get a chance to purchase merchandise and enjoy beverages outside in the official “Starfleet Outpost” beer garden via first come/first served entry on Thursday, July 21 – Sunday, July 24.
The also previously-announce Wrath of P’Khan Coolhaus Ice Cream Truck will be giving out free, limited-edition Wrath of P’Khan ice cream sandwiches via a Star Trek branded ice cream truck on Saturday, July 23 from 10am-6pm (while supplies last) at the Petco Park Interactive Zone.
For something more on the devilish side, Paramount+ will host a screening and panel for the psychological thriller Evil. Join the cast stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Christine Lahti and Kurt Fuller for an exclusive sneak peek of an episode from Season Three followed by a panel discussion moderated by Devan Coggan from Entertainment Weekly. Ballroom 20 is the place to see them on Saturday, July 23 at 10:15am – 11:30am.
Out on the exhibit hall floor you can find Paramount+ at Booth #3529 with an interactive booth space for fans to experience “a MOUNTain of entertainment.” Fans can scan a QR code located on a mountain sculpt on the outside of the booth to watch their favorite characters come to life from their phone, including characters from Star Trek, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Halo and Spongebob Squarepants. Climbers will be led to a game where they can win swag as well as take a photo to share on social media.
Over at Booth #3729, step inside Beavis and Butt-Head’s living room for a photo opportunity with the animated duo. You can also purchase new merchandise, including items exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con.
In addition to all these newly announced events, Paramount+ will also have a panel for Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge and a celebrity moderator who will give us the inside scoop about the upcoming series. This panel is Thursday, July 21, from 4:45pm – 5:45pm in Ballroom 20.
In a whole different universe Teen Wolf: The Movie creator and showrunner Jeff Davis plus stars Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, and surprise guests will preview the upcoming Paramount+ film, and taking a look back at the iconic series that started it all. You can catch them in Hall H on Thursday, July 21, from 1:30pm – 2:30pm.
Hold on to your diapies, your favorite babies are back taking over Room 6BCF on Thursday, July 21 from 1pm – 2pm. Join voice talent from the Paramount+ Original Series Rugrats, EG Daily (Tommy), Cheryl Chase (Angelica), and Charlet Chung (Kimi), along with executive producer Eryk Casemiro as they give fans an exclusive look at behind-the-scenes art and sneak peeks of never-before-seen content They will also perform a live table-read, and provide answers to popular questions, all moderated by Jim Viscardi, Executive Editor, Comicbook.com.
After the Rugrats, dive into the SpongeBob Universe with a panel featuring legendary voice talent Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Jill Talley (Karen, Squidina), Kate Higgins (Narlene), and Carlos Alazraqui (Nobby) and executive producers Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller, moderated by Patrick Gomez, Editor-in-Chief, Entertainment Weekly. This all take place (not in a pineapple under the sea) on Thursday, July 21, from 3:30pm – 4:40pm in Room 6BCF.
And lastly, Autobots will Roll Out! Fans can meet the next generation of heroes in the new original animated series, Transformers: EarthSpark with a behind-the-scenes look at art, casting and never-before-seen clips and a first time look at the Hasbro toyline. Featured panelists include all new-series voice talent Danny Pudi (Bumblebee), Kat Khavari (Twitch) and Zeno Robinson (Thrash) along with co-executive producer Dale Malinowski and executive producer Ant Ward. This panel will be moderated by Mike Cecchini, Editor-in-Chief, Den of Geek on Friday, July 22 at 2:15pm – 3:15pm in Room 6A.
