Where are you traveling from?

How many years have you been attending?
Since 2018.
What was your favorite panel and why?
Oh wow, so many but honestly Kevin Smith gives it 4000% every single year so have to say Friday Nights with him.
What is your favorite exhibitor or artist booth and why?
Artist Alley is my favorite place to visit, there’s always some really cool people and art to be found there.
What’s your favorite item you’ve ever taken home from the convention (swag, exclusive, merch, etc.)?
My con friends. No item could compare to them.
What was your favorite autograph session and why?
The Simpsons 2019 – Matt Groening was so incredibly friendly.
Tell us about your most memorable celebrity encounter at the convention.
Standing in the foyer at Hard Rock for the Superstore installation and the cast walking in, unbeknownst to me. Meeting Lauren Ash literally made me cry, it was well worth the 19 hour travel to San Diego for that alone.
What is (or was) your favorite offsite and why?
Superstore at the Hard Rock – for the reasons above, plus who doesn’t want their own Cloud9 photos!
Where is your favorite place to eat during the con?
Broken Yolk for breakfast, Rockin’ Baja for dinner.
What is your favorite thing about San Diego Comic-Con?
My con friends — we see each other once a year and it’s so incredibly good to all be together.
What is your tip to a good con?
Wear Deodorant. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Also bring a lot of snacks… and if you’re lucky, find a foreigner (like me) who has the good snacks that you can’t find locally!
What made you interested in attending SDCC the first time?
My husband — he’s a huge nerd and encouraged me to go with him.
How would you describe SDCC to someone who has never been before?
Bring a seat belt so you can strap in for a wild ride.
