KRS Comics / The Comic Mint San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Exclusives, Signings [UPDATE July 12]

KRS Comics, the San Diego based online comic book store, is known for their vast array of exclusive and limited edition variant covers.

They are bringing their a-game to the San Diego Comic-Con in 2023 with a slew of exclusives as well as creator signings. You’ll be able to find them at their shared booth with The Comic Mint on the exhibit floor at Booth #4601.

Let’s take a look at what they have planned for us:

[UPDATE July 12]

Artist Matt Wilson will be a guest at the KRS Comics / The Comic Mint Booth #4601, and he’s bringing several convention exclusives along to the con, including an 11″x17″ foil print (LE 30) for $25, W0rldtr33 #1 first print (LE 500) for $20, Nocterra #1 (LE 500) for $20, and an enamel pin (LE 100) for $10.

We know have all the information about KRS Comic’s 15 different San Diego Comic-Con exclusive variant covers, complete with pricing. They will all be at booth #4601.

KRS has even more tricks up their sleeves, and this next one is killer. You can pick up a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Something Is Killing the Children #31 by Martinez Bueno, from KRS Comics and Scott’s Collectables. It’s limited to 300 copies, and James Tynion, Martinez Bueno, and Werther Dell’Edera will also be signing at the booth.

[UPDATE July 5]

Artist Will Jack will be appearing at the KRS Booth #4601 on both Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22, where he’ll be available for signatures and remarks. Stay tuned for more information on a new exclusive cover announcement for San Diego Comic-Con.

[UPDATE July 3]

Today, KRS Comics and The Comic Mint are celebrating Superman, with a Superman #1 facsimile foil (LE 1200) for $40 and a Superman #75 30th anniversary foil (LE 1200) for $20. Artist Dan Jurgens will be on hand to sign.

[UPDATE July 2]

KRS Comics is celebrating Black Cat today with two San Diego Comic-Con exclusives. The first, Spider-Man #27 (LE 100) is a black and white variant by Pablo Villalobosand available for $30. They’ll also have an Amazing Spider-Man #26 color splash version (LE 1000) by Warren Louw for $30.

Villalobos will also be available in Artists Alley for signatures and remarks.

[UPDATE July 1]

KRS Comics showed off two new San Diego Comic-Con exclusives today, both by artist Matt Wilson. You can pick up Nocterra #1 (LE 500) for $20 and W0rldt33 #1 (first printing, LE 500) for $20.

Wilson will also be available at the booth all five days for signatures and remarks.

[UPDATE June 30 – #2]

One of the hottest cover artists right now is Inhyuk Lee and KRS Comics is proud to host Lee at their booth, #4601, from Wednesday to Sunday for signing and remarquing comic books. KRS will also be offering a trio of variant covers that you can only pick up there. Action Comics #1056 is a foil cover, limited to 1000 copies and will be $40. Heatseekers #1 will be limited to 500 copies and Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones #1 is limited to 1000 copies.

[UPDATE June 30]

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are inseparable — which is why KRS Comics wouldn’t want to separate these two announcements. This year they’ll be bringing a Poison Ivy #13 foil by Camilla d’Errico (LE 600), which will be available for $40, as well as a Harley Quinn #31 by Clayton Crain (LE 1000) for $40.

Crain will also be at Booth #4601 all five days of the convention for signing and remarques. For d’Errico, you can find her at her own Booth #4723, where she’ll have her own variety of exclusives and be available to sign your books.

The Mandalorian #1 Variant cover by Alan Quah

The first reveal from KRS Comics is a stunning variant cover for The Mandalorian #1 by artist Alan Quah. This variant, limited to just 500 copies, features Mando and his precious cargo hanging on precariously. Each copy comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

In addition, KRS will be hosting artist Alan Quah for signings all 5 days, Wednesday through Sunday, at their Booth #4061. Quah will be available for signatures as well as remarques.
