While Marvel Studios may not be taking to the Hall H stage, that doesn’t mean you won’t be seeing any Marvel presence at San Diego Comic-Con. Just like in 2015 and 2018 — both years Marvel Studios didn’t bring their big, splashy Hall H presentation to the con — they’ll still have a booth on the show floor, where you can expect signings and fun fan activities.
Up first, they’re bringing back their annual Marvel Costume Contest on Saturday, July 22 at 5:30pm PT. Entrants must arrive no later than 5:30pm in a costume portraying a Marvel character. Minors are allowed, but a parent or guardian must be present.
There will be first, second, and third place winners, as well as potential honor mentions. Each of the winners will receive a certificate, which is not redeemable for cash. You can read more about the specific rules and entry regulations on their site.
[UPDATE July 14]
You can come meet the best celebrity of all at San Diego Comic-Con this year… Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘s Cosmo The Space Dog! Jackson the Fire Dog will be cosplaying as everyone’s favorite telepathic pub, for a “pawtograph signing”.
Come meet very good girl Cosmo The Space Dog on Saturday, July 22 from 11am-11:30am at the Marvel Booth #2329.
[UPDATE July 11]
You can also now RSVP for several cosplay events throughout the week at Booth #2329, including photo ops for X-Men, The Marvels, and more.
