Sonic the Hedgehog has come speeding into San Diego for a Pop-Up Restaurant (at 910 J St., open today through August 20) — and our own Parks and Cons stopped to get a look.
On-site, you’ll find a menu heavily inspired by Sonic’s universe, with menu items such as “Sonic’s Classic Chili Dog”; the “Knuckles Sandwich,” a crispy fried chicken sandwich; and “The Evil Genius” egg salad sandwich. Sides will include “Golden Ring” onion rings and “Fast Fries,” a homage to Sonic’s speed.
While at the time of press, they don’t yet have packaging, eventually you’ll get your order in special Sonic packaging:
