Tsuburaya Productions San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Exclusives, Signings

Since the 1960s, Tsuburaya Productions founder, Eiji Tsuburaya,  goal was “to spark viewers’ imaginations” with his fantastical creations and unique filmmaking style. His Ultraman character and series continues to enthrall viewers and has become a global brand with the vision of delivering courage, hope, and kindness around the world. Most recently, the Netflix film Ultraman: Rising continued the legacy, endearing seasoned fans and introducing the Ultraman universe to new audiences.

Now, they are bringing these larger-than-life characters to San Diego Comic-Con in 2024 with an exciting booth and multiple fresh exclusives including an exclusive Blu-ray™, a limited-edition poster, apparel, and more to celebrate the beloved franchise. Fans will also be able to try out the Ultraman Card Game.

Additionally, Bandai will have a dedicated booth space (#3345) featuring a wide range of Ultraman figures and products.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet major franchise characters at the Alliance Entertainment booth, as well as at the Bandai Booth #3345, including Ultraman, Ultraman Arc, Ultraman Blazar, Ultraman Zero, and Ultraman Taiga. On the heels of the recent hit-maker Ultraman: Rising, breakout character Emi will also make her debut appearance. Additional licensed Ultraman exhibitors may also host character appearances.

To help honor the recently released Netflix film Ultraman: Rising, Alliance Entertainment/Tsuburaya Productions has commissioned renowned artist Tom Whalen to create a screen print which will be on sale at their Ultraman Booth #3729. Attendees will be able to purchase prints, and also meet Whalen, who will be signing at the booth on Friday, July 26 at 3pm.

You’ll also find additional signings throughout the weekend, including Jamie Noguchi on Thursday at 2pm, Marvel Comics artists E.J. Su (Friday at 11am) and Reilly Brown (Saturday at 11:30am), Ultraman: Rising Director Shannon Tindle (Saturday at 1pm), and Ultraman: Rising Co-Director John Aoshima (Saturday at 1pm).
