Z2 Comics, an independent graphic novel publisher that’s burst onto the scene, is best known for their rockin’ collaborations with icons from the music industry, including graphic novels featuring musicians and performers such as Anthrax, Gorillaz, King Diamond, Machine Gun Kelley, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Tori Amos, Melissa Eheridge, Pantera, and so many more.
They’ve also co-sponsored the Fandom party for the last three years, and this year’s headliner — the multi-platinum global superstar Jason Derulo — collaborated with them for Jason Derulo’s Uzo graphic novel.

Another legend has been added to the Z2 roster. On Friday, July 26 you can meet the man who keeps some of the best time in metal, Charlie Benante, of Anthrax and Pantera. Benante will be signing at 4pm at booth #1529.
Iron Maiden: Piece of Mind
You’ll find the team behind Z2’s Eisner-nominated , a commemorative tome containing comics, art, and remembrances from acclaimed writers, artists, musicians and storytellers in celebration of Iron Maiden’s iconic record. You’ll find Jason Edmiston, Josh Bernstein, and Rantz Hoseley on-site for a signing on Friday, July 26 at 12pm at Booth #1529.
No Remorse: The Illustrated True Stories of Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead
Before Mötley Crüe added umlauts to their band name and tore up stadiums with their hard rock and debauchery, there was Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead. Z2 Comics celebrates the Ace of Spades himself and his many illustrious adventures with No Remorse: The Illustrated True Stories of Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead. With contributions from legends Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Triple H, Chrissie Hynde, Dee Snider, and Lars Ulrich, the Deluxe Edition Motörhead Book and Exclusive Vinyl 2-LP Set will be available at Booth #1529.
The booth will also be framed by Lemmy’s signature tower Marshall speakers that provided his legendary sound blasting Motörhead classics throughout the con. Throughout the con, Z2 and Marshall will be hosting four daily drawings for fans to win Marshall bluetooth speakers, studio headphones, and deluxe editions of the Motörhead graphic novel.
Z2 caps off SDCC 2024 with a mega-signing with some mega-talent, including book contributors Tim Bradstreet, Jeff McClelland, Bob Fingerman, Ryan Dunlavey, Luke McGarry, Tony Parker, and MTV Legend Matt Pinfield on Sunday, July 28 at 2pm at Booth #1529.
