WonderPost 2025: Val Hochberg, Brianna Garcia, Patrick Ballesteros, Jada Toys

What’s this, both an “Under the Tents” and a “WonderPost” in a single day? It’s beginning to look a little more like con season! WonderCon Anaheim is just over two months away, and we already have confirmations from many of our favorite artists, vendors, and more. If you don’t have your badges yet, single days are now available, as well as discounted hotels.

Let’s take a look at the news you might have missed:

  • Comic artist and illustrator James Harris, also known as “The Jinja Ninja”, will be making their first con appearance outside of Japan. Catch this “Ninja” at WonderCon, where you can even pick-up a commission (pre-show commissions will be opening later).

  • We’re big fans of artist Priscilla Wilson and her Soonay character — so we’re excited to see she’s returning to WonderCon. The only question left: What will this year’s Soonay exclusives be?

  • Val Hochberg is as adorable as the chibi characters she draws — and she’s heading back to WonderCon! Stop by to pick up her original artwork, stickers, keychains, and more (and tell her the UBlog said hi).

  • Another UBlog fan favorite, Brianna Cherry Garcia, will also be returning to WonderCon this year. Stop by her booth in Artist Alley to find artwork of all your favorite Disney, Universal Halloween Horror Nights, My Little Pony, and other fandoms.

  • If you’ve been waiting for a commission from artist Patrick Ballesteros, it sounds like you won’t have long to wait — as he confirmed he’ll be opening commissions for both WonderCon and Emerald City “soon”.

  • My Dragon Girlfriend creator Courtney (also known as Fawnduu), will be tabling in California for the first time this year — at WonderCon.

  • The Shape Shifter Chronicles author Lauren Jankowski has a busy convention schedule so far this year, but luckily for us, it includes a stop at WonderCon.

  • We know you’ve been working hard on your cosplay for WonderCon. But are you still in need of a photographer? Jonatcon Photography will be heading to WonderCon, and advanced bookings are available, so check them out.

  • Black manga creator/writer and owner of Rapture Productions, Chris Hill, is returning to WonderCon, where you’ll be able to pick up works like his most recent Rapture Burgers Volume One.

  • Artist Sean Murphy will be bringing prints, signatures, and sketches to several conventions this year, but it all kicks off at WonderCon.

  • Acrylic painter and content creator Kate Crawford is also heading to WonderCon, and sharing the love with friend and fellow artist Trace Webster. Be sure to stop by to say hello to both of them and check out their artwork.

Looking for a WonderCon commission? We’re got those!

Still need to buy a ticket to WonderCon? They’ve got those!
