WonderPost 2025: A.L. Raden, Val Hochberg, Joey Spiotto, Jeff Pina

I barely had time to wrap my head around all the great stuff in the last WonderPost when I suddenly found myself flooded with MORE great things that I could not possibly wait to share with you. So here we are again, with prints, pins, freebies, commissions…all the good stuff.

Let’s dive in:

  • I cannot tell a lie, I did a little squee-ing when I saw this post on Blue Sky from Joey Spiotto. It’s. A. Severance. Print! Make your way to the Severance level, pass MDR and take a left to Artist Alley D-10. Innie and outies alike will enjoy this print. And if they don’t, they can devour feculence.

Sneak peek of a new print I’m bringing to #wondercon this weekend!

  • The sweetest, softest plush friends will be waiting for you at the Bellzi booth, #1310, but so is a fantastic offer. Receive a free Snaki Year of the Snake Pin free with purchase and with a follow on Instagram, but you’re already probably following them, right?

  • Artist Paola Bascon is in a sticker situation. Oops, I mean STICKER situation. By that I mean she will have lots of new stickers for sale at her booth, Artist Alley #B-38.
  • WonderCon attendees love free stuff and if you’d like a free print this offer is as easy as it comes. Swing by Sean Forney’s booth at Artist Alley #E-23 and say “Happy Birthday!” Yes, it’s that simple. While there, you’re also going to want to check out his sketch covers and his exclusives too.

Who will we see at Wondercon?

  • Art creating machine Jeff Pina will be debuting his new graphic novel, Oblivion x Virtue Vol.01 at WonderCon, from his booth in Artist Alley #C-59. This new book is a spinoff from Pina’s previous release Dr. Oblivion’s Guide to Teenage Dating.  And since he IS a machine after all,  he’ll also have not one, not two, not five but LOTS of original art to browse, in addition to some new prints.

  • We don’t have to tell you how much we love the work of Val Hochberg, or even how adorable it is, you can see that for yourselves by visiting her at Artist Alley booth #C-60. She’s bringing a whole lot of her criminally affordable original art, which she has been showing off on social media recently.
  • Special Guest Derek Kirk Kim will have both a spotlight panel at WonderCon, as well as three different signing times. Fans will be treated to an advance reading of his upcoming graphic novel Royals, plus there will be giveaways, including original art.

  • It’s about time that Bad Idea had a good idea! Kidding, of course! The innovative and engaging independent publisher is bringing a professionally made life size replica of the Combat Battle Armor from their book Planet Death, which will be on display. For $20 attendees can have a photo taken of them behind the armor to have mounted on a Planet Death keepsake.

  • If you’re looking for some chibi art then let’s direct your attention to Princess Quinn, who hails from Southern California and would be royally happy to take your commission requests at their castle…errr…I mean at their booth in Artist Alley, #F-18.

  • Artist Michele Fried creates clean, inviting and cheerful prints and here are two new ones that she will be bringing with her to WonderCon. These Ghibli inspired prints can be found in Artist Alley #F-22.

We’re excited to attend WonderCon this week with our very own Adam and Karen! Last year, Hero Issue #1 was a hit at Fan Expo Dallas—now, get ready for Hero Issue#2 as WonderCon’s exclusive show release! We hope to see you there!

  • OMG! Have you ever seen a quokka? They are the cutest little marsupial from southwestern Australia and they are my new favorite animal to watch videos of, thanks to this post from artist A.L. Raden. Raden will be offering original charcoal drawings at WonderCon and this little quokka is one of them. Staaaaaahhhhp! Look at his cheeks! His tiny hands! I can’t believe this is based on a real animal. What a world we live in. If you are also enchanted by this guy, check out Raden’s table at Artist Alley #F-58.

Deep in #WonderCon prep (just a few days away!) and I'm thrilled I'll be able to offer some mini original charcoal drawings for the first time ever! I won't have very many but I *will* have this little gaming quokka ^_^I'll be at Artist Alley table F-58, hope to see you there!

  • Visual artist and concept designer Chris Deboda  is giving me all the feels with this print featuring two furry friends making the most of the rain. This is a new piece by Deboda, which will make it’s debut at WonderCon in Artist Alley at booth #B-55.

  • And finally today, you’re not seeing double. There really are two version of Cyclops, or at least, two version of this Cyclops print by artist Jerry Gaylord. You can pick your favorite (or get both!) at Artist Alley #C-11.
