Under the Tents 2025: Edwin Huang, Priscilla Wilson, Vans Warped Tour, Bling Squared

We’re not even half way through June yet and I’m already stressing out about being able to see all the cool things I want to see, buy all the cool things I want to buy, and do all the cool things I want to do during San Diego Comic-Con. We can all agree that FOMO is bad, but maybe FOABSMO is worse? (Fear of Attending But Still Missing Out)

Today we have several more panel announcements, a peek at a few exclusives, some pre-order opportunities, and some updates from folks plugging away at their plans for the event.

Let’s take a peek at all the exciting news:

  • Production for San Diego Comic-Con exclusives has started for creator Priscilla Wilson, but not without a few hiccups. Looks like things are back on track now, and we are excited to see what comes from those molds!

  • The gang over at Bling Squared Cute Glass are working overtime to bring you some of the finest trash known to man. And we mean that. These Space Trash Pandas are all gussied up and ready to be adopted. Find them (and loads more) at #E-05.

  • The dais will be full for The Black Panel at San Diego Comic-Con, but the guests will be revealed one player at a time, according to Hannibal Tabu over on Bluesky. Follow along for all the reveals.

You have literally no idea. Unlock the panelists by following along, all the way up to #sdcc2025 #theblackpanel

  • Good Girl Art, the new book by Sveta Shubina will be available at San Diego Comic-Con, even if its creator sadly won’t. You’ll be able to pick up a copy over at #A-9, the Comic Boards Ink booth, who are also promising exclusives, autographed items, remarques, and original art.

  • If you can’t make it to see the Knights of the Rolled Table at the Comic-Con Museum event this Friday, fret not. According to a post on Bluesky, they will also have a soon-to-be-announced performance during San Diego Comic-Con in July.

I'll also be performing with my fellow Knights of the Rolled Table podcasters on Friday @ the Comic-Con museum (www.comic-con.org/museum/event…).(we'll also be performing at SDCC next month, but I'll share details about that, later)

  • If creator Omar Morales has any free time at San Diego Comic-Con, it will be a miracle. Sounds like he will soon have a slew of announcements.

  • You can bring a little bit of Middle Earth home with you with this signed and numbered trio of prints from artist Jerry Vanderstelt. Each print is 12″ x 16″ and the set can be pre-ordered now for guaranteed pick-up at Booth #193 during the event.

  • You’ll want to thank Syndicate Collectibles for being a friend and bringing us this San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Golden Girls retro figure set.

  • No two ways about it, San Diego Comic-Con is expensive, especially for exhibitors. Shi creator Billy Tucci is sparing no expense to make it a great experience for fans, with plans for plenty of exclusives. Psssst: don’t forget to check out our newly updated guide to Surviving SDCC on a Budget!

  • Filmmaker Larry Blamire won’t be there, unfortunately, but four of his fan-favorite films will be screened at San Diego Comic-Con, including The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, a perfect sci-fi parody from 2001.

  • Street Fighter Chun-Li and friends are fueling up for some action in this fun print from artist Edwin Huang. If you can’t wait until San Diego Comic-Con to score one, then you can always hop over to his store to place an order.

  • Details are scarce but author Kalie Cassidy revealed on Instagram that she will be at San Diego Comic-Con to represent her debut novel, In the Veins of the Drowning. Local fans can also plan on seeing Cassidy prior to SDCC during a stop at Mysterious Galaxy books on July 19.

  • A pair of Robins will be joining the selection of photocard prints that artist Eunisyn will have in Artist’s Alley at San Diego Comic-Con, at #DD-10. More reveals to come before the event.

  • We sense some mystery and intrigue with this little tease from Premium Collectibles Studio. The hashtags suggest it’ll be “marvel-ous” but unfortunately we’ll have to wait until Comic-Con for the full reveal.

  • Writer Scott “S.K.” Kilburn owes his delivery driver a favor, after receiving this shipment of his books that will make their way to San Diego Comic-Con next month. Look for his dark fantasy novels Consort to a Dark Fey and Summoning a Lost Fey.

  • After premiering at the Friends of Jack Gala last September, the independent film The Hero in Us has been invited to screen at San Diego Comic-Con. The film is the moving story of Jack Fearons, whose early health struggles evolved into an unexpected “superpower.” A Q&A session will follow the screening, with exact days and time to be announced soon.

  • According to Loudwire, the Official Vans Warped Tour Program, usually reserved just for attendees of the Warped Tour events, will also be available at the Z2 booth during San Diego Comic-Con. Z2 helped produce the custom manga-sized collectible guides for fans this year. Cartoonist Luke McGarry and artist Jimbo Phillips both contributed to the program.

  • Colorist and creator Michael Dolce of Sire Studios recently announced on his Subsctack newsletter that he’ll be joining the Apex Comics Group for their panel on Thursday, July 24. He will be joining S.G. Blaise, Jessica Court, Wilson Ramos Jr., Ariel Olivetti, Scott Hanna, Al Milgrom and others.

  • Fool’s Gold Jenna Woldenga was on Twitter celebrating their upcoming appearance and panel at San Diego Comic-Con, as well as a signing to help launch their graphic novel. According to the good folks at Simon & Schuster, the whole team will be attending.

  • And lastly today, Ronnel Parham’s 5R Production has locked in a stellar group of people for their panel, The State of Producing Independent Films, scheduled for Friday, July 25.
