Award-winning fantasy author S.G. Blaise is returning to San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with a panel, immersive booth presence, and offsite activation, all in celebration of her The Last Lumenian series and the expansive Seven Galaxies universe.
This year marks the debut of Hollow Healer, a brand-new animated short film that expands the mythos of Blaise’s sci-fi and fantasy world. The teaser, which premieres at SDCC, kicks off a new chapter in the Era Wars and introduces fans to the roots of the Seven Galaxies saga. Developed in partnership with Lilac Grove Entertainment, Tongal, and Catch A Cloud, Hollow Healer delivers emotionally resonant visuals and a rich origin story that sets the stage for the next phase of storytelling.
Fans can explore the world of Hollow Healer at Booth #2020, which will showcase the animated teaser, exclusive merchandise like limited edition t-shirts, mini posters, and more, and immersive displays. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet S.G. Blaise during signings and get an early look at the Hollow Healer comic cover. Cosplayers portraying characters from the series will be on hand for photo ops, and each day will feature free giveaways, including 100 copies of The Last Lumenian Book 1, limited to 100 copies per day, while supplies last. There will also be a QR-based fan competition that offers guests the chance to be immortalized as a character in the upcoming Hollow Healer comic releasing this fall.
Beyond the convention floor, Blaise will host an immersive offsite activation on Thursday, July 24 at Sidebar Nightclub (536 Market St). From 12pm-4pm, step inside the universe of The Last Lumenian, inspired by author S.G. Blaise’s fifth book, The Eldyran Elders. From 12pm-1pm, Blaise will also be in attendance. Fans can interact with cast members in character and collect giveaway items related to the books. If you collect all giveaway items, you’ll be entered into the Mythical Creature Naming Contest for the opportunity to name a character in the new The Last Lumenian comic, coming this winter.
There will also be a panel on Friday, July 25, titled “Worlds Collide” from 4pm-5pm in the Marriott Marquis Grand 11 & 12, featuring S.G. Blaise (Lilac Grove Entertainment), David Baxter (Larger Than Life Prods), Lesley Worton (Tongal), Heidi MacDonald (The Beat), Kris Longo (Modern Fanatic/Panick Publishing).
