It’s never too early for San Diego Comic-Con offsite news — and Paramount+ is once again the first of the larger offsites to confirm their attendance at the con. Their popular “The Lodge”, an immersive experience combining several fandoms and properties, will be returning to the convention in 2025.
Tickets for The Lodge are available again.
This year’s event is open:
- Wednesday, July 23: 6pm-10pm
- Thursday, July 24: 9am-7pm
- Friday, July 25: 9am-7pm
- Saturday, July 26: 9am-7pm
- Sunday, July 27: 9am-7pm
This year’s activation will feature a “mountain” of interactive experiences, allowing attendees to boldly go inside world of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds with the holodeck, uncover the dark twists of Dexter: Resurrection, step into Texas oil country with Landman and the Patch Cafe, or catch sparks flying with NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
Feeling daring? Take on Mission: Impossible–inspired challenges that put you in the middle of the action with iconic moments. Elsewhere at The Lodge, Pluto TV invites you to strike a pose with a photo op — and grab a snack while you’re at it to celebrate their Summer of Cinema. Then wind down at the CBS Sports UEFA Champions League bar, where you can enjoy themed beverages and rep your favorite NFL teams with interactive games and giveaways.
Here’s a look at the activation list:
- The DEXTER: RESURRECTION vault: The Vault has reopened…and it remembers everything. Hidden behind the sleek facade of a wine cellar lies a mysterious Vault, an unsettling shrine to the darkest corners of human nature. Inside, guests will discover a chilling collection of relics, case files, and twisted keepsakes from some of history’s most notorious killers, all curated with cold precision in true Dexter fashion.
- Experience STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS and STARFLEET ACADEMY: To celebrate the spirit of STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS season three, fans are invited to step inside an oversized Starfleet holodeck, a fully immersive sci-fi playground featuring a series of interactive vignettes, each inspired by specific episodes from the upcoming season. Guests can sip cosmic cocktails in the romantic ‘Intergalactic Love Lounge,’ or dive into a campus-inspired environment of the STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY space that features exclusive themed swag. Designed for free exploration, social sharing, and full-throttle fandom, this holodeck journey lets guests experience the series like never before.
- The LANDMAN Patch Café: Step into an authentic slice of Midland, Texas and kick back in a faithful recreation of the series’ favorite watering hole. Guests can order up signature drinks at the bar in a M*Tex souvenir mug.
- Go off the grid with NCIS: TONY & ZIVA. Enter a world of espionage, romance, and high-stakes tension in this Parisian café with a twist. Inspired by Tony and Ziva’s journey, this space features a cozy exterior that hints at the quiet life they crave, while the inside transports guests to a different world. Step inside a stripped-down safehouse, complete with Easter eggs such as surveillance equipment, photos, and passports.
- Paramount Pictures invites fans to celebrate the legacy of the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise with an immersive experience that drops guests straight into the high-stakes world of Ethan Hunt. Die-hard fans and first-time agents alike will experience a one-of-a-kind photo opportunity in a recreation of the iconic scene from MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE (1996) where Ethan is lowered into a high-security vault. Guests can strike the legendary suspended pose for a personalized image to take home of their unforgettable IMF mission.
- Score a Touchdown at the CBS Sports Clubhouse, a stadium-inspired space repping all things THE NFL ON CBS. Fans can take a seat in the arena-style bleachers or check out a vibrant arc of all 32 jerseys, celebrating every team in the league. Down on the turf, guests can test their arm in a target practice challenge. The UEFA Champions League-themed sports bar is also the perfect spot to kick back and relax.
Each timeslot is for 50 minutes.
[UPDATE July 9]
Are you ready to “Find Your Mountain”? While you’re waiting in line at The Lodge, you can take part of their fandom-powered “Find Your Mountain on Paramount+” campaign, in which fans will find the Fan Frontier Outpost at The Lodge. You’ll answer prompts while in line, such as “name your favorite Paramount+ series”, and in exchange receive a custom-designed printed land as well as a shareable digital version, representing a personalized slice of “Paramount Mountain”.
Ahead of Comic-Con, the Fan Frontier experience officially launches today, July 9, on Facebook and Threads. From 12pm-4pm, fans can respond to themed prompts and selected responses will also be turned into digital deeds.
[PREVIOUS]
ADWEEK confirmed the news, with The Lodge kicking off a tour that includes stops at Lake Tahoe (Feb 28-March 2), SXSW in Austin (March 7-10), Steamboat Springs, Colorado (March 21-25), and finally San Diego Comic-Con (July 23-27).
Each stop will feature “regional touches”, meaning that it won’t be the exact same experience for each stop. There’s no word on which fandoms will make it to San Diego comic-Con, but the 2025 iteration will feature a 1923-inspired saloon, a SpongeBob SquarePants Jellyfish Fields, Dora the Explorer‘s rainforest, Paw Patrol‘s Adventure Bay, a Survivor interactive Tribal Council experience, and a Yellowjackets campsite. Not all of those experiences may be heading to San Diego Comic-Con specifically, though.
Given the recent news that Avatar: The Last Airbender will be getting immersive experiences at the con, it also seems a safe bet to be included in some way.
Reservations are not yet available.
