San Diego Comic-Con 2025 Badge Pick-Up Information [UPDATE]

[UPDATE July 6]

When you get to San Diego Comic-Con 2025, even if you already have your badge in hand, you will likely want to pick up your free items in the Sails Pavilion — which include a commemorative Toucan pin, souvenir show bag, program book, and badge lanyard. This year’s Toucan pin features the Toucan headed to San Diego Comic-Con Málaga:

And as badge inserts are all the rage now, Comic-Con did issue this warning: “Feel free to personalize your badge with small pins or charms, but do not cover the artwork or any important information. If a security guard deems your badge is being obscured, they may ask you to visit Badge Solutions for a resolution before you can head back into the convention. If your decorations are not removable, your badge may need to be replaced (fees may apply).”

Basically, if using a badge insert, it needs to be easily removable in case a security guard asks.

[UPDATE June 11]

For many of you, there are still a few reasons you might need to pick up your badge on site. Comic-Con International has unveiled the badge pick-up information for 2025.

International attendees who chose not to enter a domestic shipping address, or those who have their badge lost/stolen/any-other-reason will all need to pick up your badge at the San Diego Convention Center, upstairs in the Sails Pavilion. If your badge is truly lost or stolen, make sure you also fill out the Undelivered Badge Form in your Member ID, so that they can turn off the RFID.

Attendees can begin to pick-up their badges on Tuesday, July 22 for all badge types. Attendees, vendors, and retailers may pick up their badge in the Registration Area located upstairs in the Sails Pavilion of the San Diego Convention Center.

Here’s a look at the pick-up times:

  • Tuesday, July 22: 1pm-5pm
  • Wednesday, July 23: 12pm-9pm
  • Thursday, July 24: 8:30am-7pm
  • Friday, July 25: 8:30am-7pm
  • Saturday, July 26: 8:30am-7pm
  • Sunday, July 27: 8:30am-5pm

Those with single-day badges can pick-up either on Tuesday, July 22, or starting at 3pm the day before their day (ie, if you only have a Sunday badge, you can pick-up on Saturday starting at 3pm), but again, you can also pick up on Tuesday, July 22. If you have multiple days, you can also collect all single day badges at once beginning at the earliest pick-up time for you (ie, if you have a Friday and Sunday badge only, you can pick up on Thursday at 3pm).

It’s worth noting that despite what this says, pick-up always starts earlier than the listed time — so if you’re wondering, check out social media, or just swing by and ask.

To pick up your badge, you’ll need your valid photo ID and barcode confirmation. You may not pick-up for others in your group.

For those picking up, here’s where you can line up before doors:
