I’m not going to fool myself into thinking that this paragraph will even get read today. It’s already been a crazy day of news, and it’s just Monday. You’re probably still reeling from the Exclusives Portal opening. And what about the Doctor Who offsite news? I can’t compete with all that, I’m only one person! Luckily, the rest of this post is MUCH more exciting than anything I could possibly write. Let’s skip ahead, shall we?
Let’s take a look at the news you might have missed:
- It’s finally time for the Cinelucha Tabletop Game to have it’s time in the ring, and by “ring” we mean at San Diego Comic-Con. The Masked Republic booth, #1901, is where you’ll want to be to see all the lucha action, with a planned early release for attendees.

- Isn’t parody the highest form of compliment? The duo behind the popular Hillywood Show, Hannah and Hilly Hindi, will be back at Comic-Con for very exciting reveals during a Saturday panel, as well as some TBA autograph signings.

- The Knight of Comic have a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive of Tidal Wave Productions FAME: Pedro Pascal with a cover by Ulya Stuzhuk. With very limited print runs of four different versions, including tradeless, foil and metal variants.

- The Visual Vibration folks will have a big corner booth this year, and more exciting reveals, exclusives, and variants than ever before, including a Project Naosis Steamboat Willie variant, limited to 100 copies. Find it all at booth #M-07.

- If you like your Mario Bros., but they’re just a little too sweet for you, then you’re gonna love these variant covers of Fame: Shigeru Miyamoto with Battle Damaged Luigi and Battle Damaged Mario by Tyler Kirkham. These are coming to you from the good folks at Comicage and they will be at Booth #1343 on Friday through Sunday of San Diego Comic-Con. You’ll have your choice of three different variants each.
- Best-selling author Serena Valentino announced on Blue Sky that she is bringing copies of her forthcoming book, Heartbroken, to San Diego Comic-Con, where fans will be able to pick it up early. She will also be on three different panels and several signings.
- Up in the Sails Pavilion is where you can find the very busy Autograph Area, the place where many of your favorite actors and creators are waiting to meet you. One of those is Keone Young (Deadwood, G.I. Joe, Avatar: The Last Airbender) who will be signing each day of the convention.
- You may live your life by the “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” strategy, but in this case, there is only this one, and you’re going to have to search for it. Follow MiniCritterDrop on Bluesky to find out more about for to find these drops during San Diego Comic-Con.

- There he goes….drawing stuff! No wonder they call him “Bob Draws Stuff!” Bob McKeone will have a print featuring this mask from Spider-Man 2099‘s Miguel O’Hara.

- Victorious Comics is bringing two versions of this Superman Last Son of Krypton variant cover by Brazilian artist Dario. The red version is limited to 20 standard covers, 20 embossed foils, 1 metal, 1 gold metal, 1 textured metal and 1 glow metal. The blue version is even more Limited with only 10 cardstock standards covers, 10 embossed foils, 1 metal, 1 silver metal, 1 textured metal and 1 glow metal. - You’re probably already going to the Gay Geeks And Where To Find Them panel, right? RIGHT?!? Of course you are. Then we are happy to tell you that they will be doing some fantastic giveaways from What’s Your Passion jewelry at the event.

- Good grief! Writer Shane Hawk’s (Anoka, Never Whistle at Night) SDCC schedule is making me feel like a slacker! Pay special attention to that first signing on Friday, July 25th where you’ll be able to pick up a free book.

- How about a few more “finders keepers” drops, just for good measure? These are from Gina, by way of Geeky Hooker, who will be the proxy dropper since Gina is across the pond. Check out their website for all the details about how to find these delightful little heroes.

- Artist Sarah Wilkinson is hard at work getting ready for SDCC (same, girl, same!). Wilkinson will be in Artist Alley at booth #DD-06. She will also have a Star Wars print for sale at the Trends International booth.

- It’s a joy to finally see the full reveals of Megan Lara‘s Andor inspired print, which will be available at booth #CC-19 in Artist Alley.

- * BOOP! * This ghost is too cute not to boop. Rhode Montijo coming in with another tease of a new item he’ll have at San Diego Comic-Con. This time it’s a boopable ghost patch. As always, you’ll find him at his cardboard Booth #1329.

- Calling all Browncoats! Graphic artist Geoffrey Mandel will be signing at the California Browncoats booth (A7 on the mezzanine) on Thursday, July 24 at 4pm. This in-booth signing will support Charity: Water.

- CGC is always a busy hub of activity and 2025 will be no different. On Friday, July 25 they will be hosting a double dose of Kaiju awesomeness with a signing by Chomp creators Benjamin Su and Connor McConnell. Copies of Mothra: Queen of the Monsters will be available for purchase.

- And lastly today, we are sad to report that ACME Archives won’t have their own booth at SDCC this year but the good folks at the Girls Drawin’ Girls booth #5628, will have some of their pins. It’s a small consolation, ACME, you will be missed.
