[UPDATE March 16]
Rokimoto has cancecled this event, due to “unforeseen circumstances”, and all tickets will be refunded in the coming days. Ticket sales had been soft prior to the announcement, though this was very early for a Comic-Con event announcement.

[PREVIOUS]
Where they’re going, they don’t need roads. FunMaker Inc — the home of the collectibles brand Rokimoto, from Funko founder Mike Becker — announced today on Instagram that they are returning to San Diego Comic-Con in a big way.
Following their first-ever party last year (which left something to be desired in the way of organization — you can read our review here) at the InterContinental Hotel, the company is moving the celebration to the Balboa Theatre in the Gaslamp for 2026. This year’s iteration is set for Friday, July 24 (time still TBA).
Tickets will be available starting Monday, February 16 at 12pm PT via Ticketmaster.
Tickets range from $120.35 to $173.10.
Last year’s event included a goodie box, limited food (last year fed attendees a grilled cheese sandwich, brownie, and non-alcoholic drink), special guest appearances (from Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias”, Jo Koy, and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels), and prize giveaways. Given the move to the Balboa Theatre, we would wager that there will likely be fewer activites and free wandering, and more of a focus on the entertainment and announcement portion.
