XLE is back with the second fan-forward party of the year at San Diego Comic-Con, and this time they’re turning Parq Nightclub into a full-blown anime battleground with their Party Plus Ultra on Thursday, July 23 from 8pm-1:30am.
It’s an anime-themed celebration inspired by the series and fandoms that have defined convention culture for decades. Live anime cover band Isekai Stage will perform fan-favorite openings and anthems before DJ Chuck None, DJ Overkill, and Kahn Artest keep the party going late into the night.
Fans can expect cosplay, themed activations, photo opportunities, a sponsor sample station by Chery Coke, and more. General admission tickets are now available for $30 now with special Early Bird pricing, then it will raise to $40.
For those looking to unlock their final form, VIP admission is also now available for $80 with early bird pricing (and eventually raises to $125). VIP grants access to the Hidden Leaf Lounge, powered by Anime San Diego. It’s designed as an exclusive retreat for heroes, rivals, and suspiciously overpowered “transfer students”, the lounge will feature bonus celebrity guest interactions, surprise activations, exclusive giveaways, and a collection of VIP-only perks.
VIP guests will also receive complimentary sushi from Sushi on a Roll while supplies last, along with an exclusive Anime San Diego holographic card, Four Empires starter packs, a VIP acrylic badge and ribbon, and a 16″x20″ exclusive art print. Ten lucky attendees will also discover Golden Tickets hidden in their swag bags, redeemable for certified, signed anime Funko Pops valued at over $100.
You can also join XLE for their San Diego Comic-Con kickoff party, Ready Party One, on Wednesday, July 22.
There’s more information and announcements still to come.
