This summer, horror comes back to Hall H. 

We are exactly one week away from Preview Night at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and also exactly one week away from the release of Image Comic’s Dread the Hall H, the horror anthology spin off that bring the terrors of the night to the terrors of Comic-Con.

Just like last year, creators Chris Ryall and Jordan Hart will be manning the microphones for a very special panel with some of the contributors to this year’s issue. Join then on Saturday, July 25 at 5pm in Room 23ABC for Dread the Hall H 2026: More (Fictional) Comic Convention Horror Stories, to hear spirited convention stories, both real and fictional, in celebration of comic conventions in general. Cover artist Maria Wolf and interior artist Chris Anderson will be there as well to share the the joy and anguish of this event we all love.

As a gift for attending (or, an apology for scaring you?) all attendees will receive a free, one-of-a-kind enamel pin, either Archiebald the Alien or Rescue Rongi the Red Panda, starring characters in the newest anthology.
