Fandom Returns to Rock San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with Fan Favorite Party [UPDATE]

Fandom is once again throwing one of San Diego Comic-Con week’s biggest parties, and this year they’re bringing some serious rock credentials along for the ride. [NEW] You can now sign up for entry — it is once again a lottery, open between now and July 17. Entry is for you with a plus one. According 150 winners will be selected — so there are 300 tickets up for grabs.

The ninth annual Fandom Party returns to FLOAT at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, July 23 from 7pm-11pm, where attendees will be treated to a performance by The Coverups, the cover band fronted by Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong.

Presented by Xbox’s Halo: Campaign Evolved, this year’s invitation-only event will once again bring together fans, creators, celebrities, influencers, and industry insiders for an evening dedicated to celebrating pop culture. Guests will be able to get hands-on with Halo: Campaign Evolved ahead of its July 28 launch in a dedicated gaming area, complete with a themed photo opportunity.

Additional activations include the -196 Freeze Point experience from Suntory Global Spirits, inspired by Japanese convenience store culture and featuring fruit-forward vodka seltzers, as well as exclusive merchandise from Z2 Comics tied to the upcoming graphic novel and film …And Out Comes the Wolf.
