Shaboozey is saddling up for his San Diego Comic-Con debut this year. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, whose breakout hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” became one of the biggest songs of 2024 and helped propel him to global stardom, is heading to Comic-Con to celebrate the launch of his first-ever comic book, The Outlaw Cherie Lee.
The debut issue kicks off a three-part Western series from Range Comics that expands the story of his upcoming album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, arriving July 31. While the comic doesn’t officially hit shelves until August 18, Comic-Con attendees will get the first chance to pick up a copy before anyone else.
Fans can catch Shaboozey on Friday, July 24, for a special live recording of “Get Rec’d With Straw Hat Goofy”, hosted by 2026 TIME100 Digital Creator JuJu Green, at 7pm in Room 6BCF. During the panel, he’ll discuss the creation of the comic, the inspiration behind the new album, and debut a new trailer narrated by Jamie Foxx.
Beforehand, though, you can catch Shaboozey at the Funko Booth #5341 for an exclusive signing of The Outlaw Cherie Lee, beginning at 5:30pm on Friday.
