Under the Tents 2026: Sarah Wilkinson, Naruto, Galaken, BB-Cre.8, James Silvani, The Tick

Erin has been bringing her A-game to “Under the Tents” of late, but I’ve been up since 4am, so you’re getting my Z-game. And by Z, I mean Zzzzz, because I’d love to be asleep right now. And to be fair, my only other game at the moment is my V-game, as in Vampire-game.

But there is no sleep or vampires in my future tonight… only SDCC news! Which is fitting, as it’s July, and we all know what that means… San Diego Comic-Con is this month.

So let’s just get right into it:

  • Artist Sarah Wilkinson is heading to San Diego Comic-Con with three exclusives for fans of Star Wars and original art. You’ll find her in Artist Alley #DD-06 with a trio of exclusives, including “Coven,” an officially licensed Star Wars poster featuring Asajj Ventress returning to Dathomir after Count Dooku’s betrayal, where she is welcomed home by the Nightsisters. The 13″x19″ print was created in partnership with Trends International/All Posters, is limited to 100 copies, and will be available for $30. Wilkinson will also have a selection of original pencil sketches and paintings available for purchase, including licensed Star Wars artwork created for Lucasfilm and partner companies, as well as original sketches related to the exclusive Ventress print. Most pieces measure 9″x12″, with prices starting at $200. Rounding out the exclusives are three limited-edition gold foil bookmarks inspired by Wilkinson’s mental health gallery series. They feature soft-touch printing and are individually packaged, and are available for $10 each or $20 for the complete set.

  • Everybody loves a good odd-couple story. Saved & Spoiled, a comic strip by cartoonist John Yuskaitis, follows a rescue dog and a pedigree cat learning to share a home, and is debuting a 182-page limited-edition collection created exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con. This edition features a unique SDCC cover not found on the retail release, along with the story of the pair’s very first meeting. Now that’s a dog-gone good buy, waiting for a new home at #O-13 in Small Press.

  • Artist James Silvani is cleaning out the Duck Vault. He’s bringing the last of his Darkwing Duck comics to SDCC, including The Duck Knight Returns, Crisis on Infinite Darkwings, past SDCC and NYCC exclusives, and select individual issues. Best of all, they’re blank and ready for a certified signature.

  • Jeepers creepers, where’d you get those kaiju? Pop culture officially licensed eyewear makers Galaken are stomping into the con with something legendary at Booth #4037.

  • Artist Terry Huddleston wants to take us to The Backrooms… Er, to #E-09, which sounds a lot less scary. He’s celebrating some of the best horror films of 2026 with new prints at his booth, including jumbo canvas offerings (2 ft x 6 ft) for $150, 14″x39″ prints for $75, and mini 6″x16″ for $30 each.
  • Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes. It’s a cruuuuuel summer. Dice Girls side more on the devils’ side with their collection of plush and enamel dice (available in D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, and even D20), rolling into Booth #5560.

  • We are Venom! Or at least, a Venom #259 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive by Lucio Parillo, available in both trade dress (LE 1600 / $20 each) and virgin (LE 800 / $30 each) versions. You can make yourself symbiotic with Booth #2302 to pick one up, though it will also be available on their WhatNot streams starting July 21.

  • We’re good at keeping secrets. Really, we are. And we promise, BB-Cre.8, that we won’t tell a soul about your super secret Preview Night pin. We definitely won’t tell anyone that it’s limited to only 50 pieces and available first-come/first-serve at Booth #1332. Our lips are sealed. 🤐

  • The SDCC countdown has officially begun (it’s THIS month!), and 7 Bucks A Pop is already out here dangling the word “exclusives” like they’re trying to summon collectors from three exhibit halls away. We’re listening. Patiently. (Okay, not that patiently.) Here’s hoping Booth #5037 comes prepared to do some serious damage to our wallets.

  • There are few things more fitting than making a radioactive superhero a Comic-Con exclusive. BigBad Workshop is bringing an SDCC-exclusive 1/12 scale “Radioactive” Tick to Booth #618, and he somehow looks even more gloriously blue despite all that glowing green. At $45 with a limit of one per customer, you’ll have to resist the urge to shout “SPOON!” all the way back to your hotel room.
  • Twenty-eight years of San Diego Comic-Con is basically enough time to earn booth tenure. Lorenzo Sperlonga is back at Booth #4812, where he’ll be debuting a brand-new TAARNA painting and its limited edition prints.

  • Scott’s Collectables is kicking off their SDCC reveals with a Dan Quintana Odin #1 cover, available at Booth #2314 alongside Neon Ichiban (with additional copies at Comic Inspiration’s Booth #2302). Dan Quintana will also be signing Thursday through Saturday, with James Tynion IV joining the party for signings on Saturday and Sunday.

  • Stop by Booth #5535 to find “Luna Sea” (which sounds very much like the metaphorical ocean I find myself in on a daily basis this time of year), better known as artist Rebecca Hicks’ booth in the Independent Press Pavilion.

  • Artgerm is making it official: he’ll be at Booth #5014, bringing a brand-new Absolute Wonder Woman original, offering daily commission slots, and teasing an SDCC-exclusive book.

  • Board game designers, your moment has arrived. Unpub, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping designers playtest and refine unpublished tabletop games, is making its San Diego Comic-Con debut. It’s a chance for creators to put their games in front of fresh players and get real-time feedback… because nothing says “stress test” like convention attendees running on four hours of sleep and convention center nachos. Designers can purchase a $5 Unpub badge (SDCC badge required) and reserve up to three four-hour playtesting blocks for $25 each, while anyone with an SDCC badge can drop in and playtest games for free. Unpub is also looking for volunteers, with a limited number of SDCC badges available in exchange for helping out. Find more information on all the above over on their site.

  • Comics legends Paul Levitz and Mark Waid will kick off the con with a panel on Thursday, July 23 at 10am, with a conversation about the history of comic book universes, followed by audience Q&A.

  • Speaking of panels… Comic-Con isn’t just about what’s on the screen. It’s also about the conversations those stories inspire. The Free the Squee Podcast is returning to SDCC with Laura Todd for a youth-led panel, called “The Characters We Deserve: Youth Talk Gender & Orientation in the Popular Arts“. The Friday, July 24 panel will be from 3pm-4pm in the Marriott Marquis Grand Ballroom 10, and will explore how pop culture shapes conversations around gender, identity, relationships, and representation.
