I am reporting to you LIVE as I try to climb out from underneath the piles of endless post-July 4th announcements for San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Once again, the news is coming fast and furious after Independence Day, and any pre-holiday feelings of SDCC-related news and announcements feeling light and/or slow is turning out to be a bigger mirage than the USMNT at this year’s World Cup, amirite??? Sports, huh???
While you think about where to allocate your precious Exclusives Portal points — still got a week! — here’s the latest roundup of the rest of the news that’s fit to print post on social media. As always, if you knew about everything below already, please consider joining our team:
- Co-creator and writer Stephanie Forney, along with inker Jamie Snell, are bringing some exciting San Diego Comic-Con exclusives to #K-03 in Small Press this year for their Scarlet Huntress series. Fans will be able to pick up Scarlet Huntress Meets Wendigo #2, a special 22-page page preview book that’s limited to 25 trade and 25 virgin covers, as well as a special “Scarlet Meets Wendigo” 11″x17″ print, which is limited to 25 pieces. They’ll also have Scarlet Huntress Box Sets and Ultimate Box Sets available. You can pre-order any of these items and more for pick-up at the con online.
- Well, by the power of Pooh-skull… Sean Forney is bringing a Do You Pooh #1 homage to J. Scott Campbell’s iconic Masters of the Universe cover to SDCC. Created in collaboration with Bigg Legg Vintage, the exclusive is limited to just 103 copies across all formats, with variants ranging from trade dress editions to ultra-rare holofoils and one-of-one metal editions. Fans can find copies at Sean Forney’s Artist Alley Booth #EE-03, through Bigg Legg, and via limited preorders for convention pickup.
- Artist Nan Hockin has been busy, busy, busy, creating tons of new 4″x6″ prints, as well as 5″x7″ originals, heading to #F-11 in Small Press.
- Zen Monkey Studios’ pins can be found throughout the show floor, including Booth #1429 and #1600, where you can pick up pins for The Legend of Korra and more.

- To us, our X-… Pod? Geekscape’s X-Pod ’97Â podcast will do a live show on Saturday, July 25, 1pm-2pm at the San Diego Central Library’s Neil Morgan Auditorium (330 Park Boulevard). The panel will include mystery guests in addition to a packed panel that includes X-Men ’97 executive producer Larry Houston and voice actors Gui Agustini (Sunspot) and Isaac Robinson-Smith (Bishop). An SDCC badge is required.

- Next, we’ve got a trio of teases from the man who makes comics and loves his wife, kids, cats, and tacos: Jeff Pina is bringing new prints for Star Trek (11″x17″), DC’s Absolute Universe (8″x10″), and Batman The Animated Series (8×10), and Sliders (8×10). Come help replenish Pina’s taco budget by picking these up at Booth #Q-06 in Small Press.
- Coffin Comics #5530 will be coming to life with at least two exclusive Lady Death covers. The first cover comes from Frank Cho and is limited to 300 copies. The second comes from John Giang; no print run has yet been specific on Giang’s cover.
- Well, here’s the rule of three in effect, as we have a THIRD Lady Death exclusive cover, this one from SOZOMAIKA limited to 666 copies. While not explicitly confirmed in the past, we’re thinking this will join the previous two covers at Coffin Comics #5530.

- Sean Forney? More like Sean Forn-EYE. Grab Forney’s sketch cover of Allen the Alien from Invincible at Artists’ Alley #EE-03.

- The latest in Unknown Comics’ daily exclusive reveal is Tyler Kirkham’s Absolute Batman #20 Battle Damaged Gold Foil. Grab it at Unknown Comics #1001 directly for $40 or take a chance on getting it via the $30 Mystery Box.

- Mis Nopales (aka artist Jose Puido) will have nine new pins available at Table #H-03, starting with this Deadpool.
- Tehani Farr is quite familiar with the Convention of Comics in America’s Finest City. This year, she’s choosing SDCC as the site of an exclusive new cover for The Stranger, which you can grab from the fittingly named Stranger Comics #2307… which is where Farr will also be signing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (July 24-26) at 3pm. Anyone who decides not to be a stranger should attend a signing, where all attendees will receive a limited-edition Collection Card.
- Earlier this week, Oni Press announced Touch Me Someplace Nowhere, a 2027 release from Tradd Moore. As part of the promotional rollout, Moore will be conducting two signings (times TBA) at Oni Press #1829, where an exclusive 9″x12″ art print of Touch Me will be given away to attendees while supplies last (it is unclear to this guy if the print giveaway will happen throughout the week or only during the signings, though).

- You’ll find this Psylocke print along with its creator, Donny Tran, in Artists’ Alley at #BB-21, where Tran will also have originals for sale and taking commissions (for AFTER the convention).

- It’s time to play The Game — if Erin were writing this, there would probably be a Triple H GIF here — at White Ash Comics #2201, which will have an SDCC-exclusive Don Aguillo Gold Foil Logo cover for Paul’s Story, a Game one-shot limited to just 100 copies. These will be available primarily at the White Ash booth, with a small number set aside for a Kickstarter launching next week for The Game Volume One, combining the series’ first five issues into a hardcover compilation.

- Captured Collectibles will bring a Martin Savala SDCC-exclusive Battle Beast #11 Matte Foil edition limited to 800. According to a reply in the comments of the post, this will be available at DSTLRY #2314 and will also be available on WhatNot.
- Cherry Poptart creator Larry Welz has been making comics since before San Diego Comic-Con existed (only by a year, still). After a two-decade absence from the show, Welz will be making an appearance (or appearances?) at Booth #529. Welcome back to SDCC, Larry!

- Finally, we’ve got a compilation of nooligan’s in-progress SDCC exclusives reveals that will be found at his Booth #5567. In addition to what he’s bringing to the physical con, nooligan will also have an SDCC @ home sale on his website starting the Monday morning after the con concludes. As for the exclusive reveals, so far, we’ve got a “thwip” signed and numbered print limited to 40, a ‘pack of smokes’ Marvel mugs theme deck limited to 25, and the first two daily free w/ purchase smoke cards (Thursday’s is a One Piece and Padres mashup, Friday’s is Captain America).
- Since the full panel schedule is about to drop over the next four days, we’re almost done with these panel announcement blurbs! But here’s one more for ya: “Frazetta’s Fiercest Females: Space Vampires, Cave Girls, and Egyptian Queens” will be on Saturday (July 25), 6pm-7pm in Room 9 with a retrospective discussion on Frank Frazetta’s legacy of strong female heroines. The panel includes Frank’s granddaughter Sara, along with actress Erica Fett, artist SOZOMAIKA, and podcast Taffeta Darling.
