Afrofuturism Consciousness Convention
For the seventh year, the Afrofuturism Lounge returns, this time for the Afrofutirism Consciousness Convention. Join the annual celebration of Black Comics, Sci-Fi, Afrofuturism, and Astral Blackness on Thursday, July 25 (during Comic-Con) from 7pm-11pm at 750 B St.
The evening will include local heroes and visionaries, special guests, comic universe builders, animation industry professionals, and beyond. The event will also showcase the finalists for their Inclusive Language Arts Contest (which you can still enter, and details are here).
