Overnight Family Experience Aboard The Star of India
You can live out your family’s pirate fantasies with The Maritime Museum of San Diego. On Friday, July 26, they’ll be offering an overnight experience aboard the 1863 Star of India tall ship. Although the ship won’t leave the dock, instructors will be in character teaching activities such as moving cargo and raising sails, and it will be a unique opportunity to see areas of the ship that are closed to the public.
The event is open to ages 6+, and all participating adults must be accompanied by a youth (under 18).
Dinner will also be served.
Tickets are $125 per participant, or $100 for Maritime Museum members.
Check-in time will be at 2pm for a 3pm start time, and you’ll depart at 9am the following morning.
