It’s less than two weeks away from Comic-Con, and CCI is releasing the programming schedule for Comic-Con 2024 in its annual fashion. We’ll be bringing you the highlights of each day as they’re announced.

We’ll also be discussing our thoughts on this year’s lineup, including our top picks, room flow, and what time we think you should line-up in a special series of live podcasts this weekend. The first of which covered Thursday’s and Friday’s lineup, and the second segment — in which we break down Saturday and Sunday — will be on Sunday, July 14 at 6pm PT / 9PM ET (that’s tonight!)

With that said, let’s dive right into Sunday.

Just like last year, there is no Hall H. While last year that wasn’t as much of a shock given the SAG-AFTRA strikes, prior to the Toucan Tracker wristband distribution schedule being announced, we had every reason to hope that this year would be more of a return to normal. But with the days of Warner Bros. bringing 15+ series to the convention long gone, and many other networks paring down their presence a bit, it seems that this may just be the new normal.

There’s also no Ballroom 20 or Indigo, but that isn’t new.

Still, there are plenty of movie and television panels to be found on the Sunday schedule, starting with Star Trek: Prodigy at 10am in Room 6DE, where you’ll screen a new episode and get an in-depth discussion with the legendary Star Trek actress Kate Mulgrew. Then, you’ll get a screening for Jellystone for the crossover event featuring all your favorite Cartoon Network characters and the Max series, set for 1:45pm in Room 6DE with cast and creatives. Then dig into the history (and the future) of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory at 3pm in Room 6DE, with most of the voice cast in attendance. You’ll also find Iyanu, the upcoming Lionforge animated series, at 1:30pm in Room 10.

Besides TMNT and Jack Quaid, this year is really all about one thing: X-Men ’97. And you’ll find virtually the entire voice cast at the annual X-Men Fandom Panel, over at 1pm in Room 6BCF, for what’s sure to be one of the biggest highlights of the week (and we’re thankful it’s getting a much-needed upgrade to 6BCF). The X-Men ’97 celebrations don’t stop there though, with writers, directors, and composers from the series giving a behind-the-scenes look at 11:45am in the same room, just before the big event.

Learn about deaf representation in pop culture at 2pm in Room 4, for a panel that includes actors from CODA, Days of Our Lives, Creed IV, and beyond.

Go Go Power Rangers to Room 5AB at 2:15pm for a panel featuring actors across several of the Power Rangers series.

You’ll also find star power elsewhere around the convention, including the annual Food Network panel with celebrity chef Duff Goldman (as well as Jessica Tseang) at 3pm in Marriott Marquis Grand 12 & 13.

The annual Buffy: Once More with Feeling Whedonverse musical is back at 3:30pm in Room 6BCF. Step back through the gate for Dial the Gate’s 30th anniversary fan celebration of Stargate at 10:30am in Room 6BCF, or re-board Manifest with a fan panel featuring an executive producer of the series at 3:30pm in Room 23ABC. You can join Tseang again for a look back at Godzilla: Minus One and the cultural impact the film has had at 11:30am in Room 25ABC.

Behind-the-scenes, don’t miss “The Character of Music: The Art of Scoring for Animation”, featuring composers behind some of your favorite animated series, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, X-Men ’97, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, and more at 2:15pm in Room 6BCF.

Fans of comic and the arts have plenty to be excited about on Sunday. “Cover Story” at 2pm again has a stacked roster of cover artists, including J. Scott Campbell, Joe Jusko, Ken Steacy, and Klaus Janson. You’ll find some big names at DSTLRY drawing live at 12pm in Room 11, including Jock, Mirka Andolfo, and Joëlle Jones. You’ll also find a great line-up at “Image Comics: Genres, Generations, and Graphic Greatness” at 11:30am in Room 10, with panelists including Tony Fleecs, Trish Forstner, Tim Seeley, Ian Bertram, and Declan Shalvey.

It’s already been a huge turtle-themed week with the big 40th anniversary celebration of the series, but you’ll find co-creator Kevin Eastman on another retrospective panel on Sunday, “From the First Issue to The Last Ronin” at 12:30pm in 23ABC with X-Men ’97 director and TMNT storyboard artist, Larry Houston.

Step into the ring to examine the relationship between pro wrestling and comic books with the annual “Not So Strange Bedfellows” panel at 12pm in Marriott Marquis Grand 12 & 13.

Boldly go to IDW’s Star Trek comics panel at 11am, featuring some big names, including Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Ryan North in Room 7AB.

There’s lots of potential on the “Women of Marvel” panel at 10:30am in Room 6A, but it all depends on who is on the panel list — which right now, is TBA.

Celebrate Filipino creators at a 2pm panel in Room 24ABC, which includes the world-renowned comics artist Whilce Portacio.

And of course, there’s the annual Jack Kirby tribute panel, as moderated by Mark Evanier, at 10am in Room 5AB.

Elsewhere, you won’t want to miss “Cartoon Voices II”, especially if you missed Saturday’s edition — with Mark Evanier leading Daniel Ross (Donald Duck, The Tom and Jerry Show), Jim Meskimen (Thundercats, Avengers Assemble!), David Errigo, Jr. (Phineas and Ferb, Tiny Toons Looniversity), Debra Wilson (Baby Shark’s Big Show!, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League), and Fred Tatasciore (Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Tiny Toons Looniversity), at 11:45am in Room 6A.

We are very curious about “Dungeons & Dragons: The Twenty-Sided Tavern Goes Off-Broadway” at 11am in Room 32AB, where Critical Role‘s Taliesin Jaffe moderates a panel about the hit off-Broadway experience.

For vintage toy collectors, you won’t want to miss “The Evolution of Toy Collecting: From the Sears Wishbook to Etsy Storefronts” as super collectors, toy packaging artists, and more discuss how the hobby has shifted, at 4pm in Room 32AB.

Sunday is traditionally “Kids Day”, which means there are tons of great panels for your budding artist or writer. “How to Make a Minicomic” is back from artist and writer Zander Cannon, who will walk you through creating your own four-page minicomic at 12pm in Room 3. Your kiddos will also get a kick out of Dynamite Entertainment’s panel at 11:30am in Room 23ABC with plenty of Disney comics.

And of course, you can end the day with Comic-Con Talk Back, the annual “town hall” where you can tell Comic-Con International directly what you liked, hated (bring back the carpet!), or anything you want, really. That’s at 3:30pm in Room 25ABC.
