No Friday night plans during San Diego Comic-Con? You can swap the convention floor for the “Things Can Only Get Better” Tour, when it hits the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on Friday, July 24 at 6:30pm (doors at 6pm). That’s roughly a 20-minute drive from downtown San Diego, making it an easy offsite option once the exhibit hall closes.

Headlining the night is Howard Jones, known for synth-pop staples like “What is Love?”, “Things Can Only Get Better”, and “No One Is to Blame”. He’s joined by a full lineup of ‘80s heavy hitters, including Wang Chung (“Everybody Have Fun Tonight”), The English Beat (“Mirror in the Bathroom”), and Modern English (“I Melt With You”), with Richard Blade on hand as host.
