“The Vampire Lestat” Premiering at ATX TV Festival with Showrunner Rolin Jones

Before The Vampire Lestat rocks New York on June 2, the “real” premiere for the AMC series will actually happen deep in the heart of Texas. AMC is heading back to the ATX TV Festival with a special fireside chat and advanced screening for the highly anticipated new season on Friday, May 29 at 1pm, giving attendees their first proper look at Lestat’s rockstar era ahead of the June 7 premiere on AMC and AMC+.

Fans will be treated to an advanced screening of the premiere episode of The Vampire Lestat, before New York fans are even sinking their teeth into the June 2 concert event. In addition to the screening, attendees will get a fireside chat with showrunner Rolin Jones moderated by Damian Holbrook of TV Guide Magazine and TV Insider, offering an early deep dive into Lestat’s rockstar era, the new season’s direction, and what lies ahead for AMC’s Immortal Universe.

The event was originally announced as a Mystery Screening at ATX, revealed today.

Both AMC and Jones are no strangers to ATX. The franchise previously appeared at the festival in 2022 ahead of Interview with the Vampire season one, returned again in 2024 with an early look at the second season’s fourth episode, and made another appearance in 2025 as AMC continued building out Anne Rice’s growing television universe.

You can purchase single tickets to the event online for $32 (note that it says Mystery Screening still at time of print, but this is the correct event). Festival badges are also available, starting at $150.
