Good things come in threes, right? Since this is my third Under the Tents post in a row, I hope you find it a good one. Maybe you’re itching to find out what else Shawn Kirkham is bringing? Maybe it’s Mr. Bones who tickles your fancy? Perhaps you’d like to know more about Rascal Randy, or maybe you are hungry for some chocolate?
Actually, now that I’m mentioning chocolate, you might want to grab a drink or a snack before you start reading this, it’s a hefty tome, to be sure.
Now let’s dive in, the water’s fine (unless you’ve just eaten, then come back in an hour):
- One of the best four letter words there is starts with an “F!” No, it’s not THAT one… it’s FREE! And BB-Cre.8 is working on some special FREE pins for San Diego Comic-Con. (Full disclosure, the other “F” word is pretty great too.)
Working in some special pins to give out for free during #SDCC2026!

- The exclusive cover for Untold Tales of Collectors that we showed off in a previous UTT now has its own home at SDCC. Creator Eddie DeAngelini will be setting up shop in Small Press at Booth # N-05.
- Online game Star Trek: Fleet Command has announced they will be returning to San Diego Comic-Con, but in what capacity…that remains a mystery. You can sign up for more information by clicking on their link.

- From the pages of James Tynion IV’s Exquisite Corpses to your nightmares and now, finally to San Diego Comic-Con. Stay Sweet Comics posted this, their first SDCC exclusive for 2026 on Facebook and it’s a doozy. Limited to 400 copies, this exclusive foil variant for Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy #1 is by Martin Zavala.
- Math is hard, but by my calculations, this post means that there should be at least 1500 of these fun Unknown Comic Books SDCC mystery boxes available at their Booth #1001 during the show. At only $40 each, with 2 variants per box (one of which will be a 2026 exclusive variant), that seems like a no-brainer of a deal right there.

Our custom SDCC 2026 Mystery Boxes go live Tuesday, June 30th at 6 PM EST for just $30!
Only 500 boxes are available online. Get a guaranteed random SDCC 2026 exclusive with a fair shot at $40 retail Foils, Glow, & B&W covers!https://t.co/4Hgn6yiLAJ#SDCC #ComicBooks pic.twitter.com/wTLMEflMDT

- AC Pop Comics has added to their booth talent list with the incomparable Wil “Shrike” Stevens, who both tantalizes and terrifies with his realistic art.
- I had to put on my Sherlock Holmes hat for this post… and I deduce that the Atomic Museum, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, is making their way to San Diego Comic-Con for a reason yet to be revealed to me, but has SOMETHING to do with Fallout and Bethesda Studios? What say you, Watson? Watson…? WATSON!!!! Ope, looks like a radroach got Watson. Poor fellow.
Fast travel to #SDCC is unlocked… but our mission details are strictly confidential. 🤫🗺️

- No panels (yet!) for writer Chanda Prescod-Weinstein (The Disordered Chaos, The Edge of Space-Time). HOWEVER! There is a book signing at her publisher’s booth, which will require same-day tickets to attend, to look forward to. Oh, and happy first SDCC, Chanda!

- Only one more sleep until the San Diego Comic-Con reveals from My Own Culture’s Mr. Bone start rolling through. Until then, they’ve given us some teaser silhouettes to enjoy.
- On Friday, July 24, there will be a panel focused on the Latino legends of cosplay, “Unmasking Cultura.” With a stacked list of participants like Gothambat_Si and ProfechicanoBatman, it’s sure to be an entertaining and informative time. Meet them in Room 32AB at 6pm.
- Artist Sorah Suhng is returing to SDCC for the first time in a while and will be sharing a booth with Juan Castro, Ace Continuado and Ryan Sullivan. Find them at #I-02 where Suhng will have books, exclusives, original art and more.

- Here’s a pair of “finders keepers” crochet drops for you. The first one, from Nifty Neuron, will have you saying “meep! meep!” while you search for it and the second, from Morgan le Slay, might have you swimming in circles.
#crochetDrop year 7, let's go!

- In other giveaway news, Pixiegift Fashions has finalized the bags of goodies they will be dropping at SDCC. Follow along for your chance to find one.
Finalized my geek fashion goodies to drop at SDCC this year! They’re all themed bags- two of them are based on my design for the Her Universe Fashion Show this year (they’re the secret ones that are face down)! 💖 pic.twitter.com/f6vor4QqfM

- Well, this is just rude. It’s coming right up on snack o’clock and just leave it to Patrick Ballesteros to drop this tasty morsel. Two new flavors of chocolate are on the horizon from Galleon Chocolate, and they will feature some delightful original art from Ballesteros. One look at the hashtags tells us that they will be featured at Ballesteros’ pop-up at Mnemonic Coffee, which is right before SDCC. Now all I can think about is chocolate.

- The folks from ThreeZero showed off a new SDCC exclusive on Instagram. They are bringing a Transformers MDLX G2 Heroes Combat Megatron in a nifty all-new purple camouflage color-way, exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con. Pick this guy up at Booth #2944.
- Look folks… I’m a grown-ass adult. I KNOW that REAL turtles have teeth. And I also know that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are NOT real turtles. But explain to me then how these T.M.N.T. teeth look so darn real!?!? (Not you, Leonardo!) And they aren’t even sharp but there are SO MANY OF THEM. Anyway. “Big Clutch” Shawn Kirkham is bringing these four T.M.N.T. #20 variant covers from artist Pete Carroll to San Diego Comic-Con Booth #1101. They will be $25 each and are limited to 500 per Turtle.
- Deadpool ❤’s Wolvie in this Mondo tease. I am somewhat reassured by seeing BOTH hands in this photo, actually.

OMG YOU GUYS!!! LOOK AT THESE!

- These pins are my whole world (for today, anyway). Pinjutsu is offering limited pre-orders for pickup of both of these, with the rest being available for purchase at the convention only, at Booth #4932. Be sure to select SDCC pick up at checkout!
- The feature documentary that chronicles the final, turbulent years in the life of legendary creator Stan Lee will have a premiere screening at San Diego Comic-Con this year, according to a press release. Stan Lee: The Final Chapterwill give viewers and fans a first-hand account of Lee’s enduring optimism, amidst the power struggles, exploitation, and behind-the-scenes turmoil that surrounded him. Details TBA.

- Well, well, well… Artist Jeff Pina is showing allegiance to both major comics book companies with his stickers. We have already seen his adorable Marvel ones, and now here’s the selection of DC stickers that he’s bringing to SDCC with him.
- Crowned Athletics is making a stop at San Diego Comic-Con, in the Lucas Pavilion #2913-T, with some exciting offers and exclusives for Star Wars fans. Their imaginative and fandom-forward athletic gear is both adorable and functional. They will also be having giveaways!
- One of the most ambitious private commission projects of modern day is the Dark Knight Recreated, a page-for-page recreation of Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns with each page done by a different super-star artist. Fifty different artists participated in this fan-organized project, including Nick Dragotta, Jock, Mike Allred, Daniel Warren Johnson, and more. Felix Comic Art has announced that they will be auctioning off a donated copy of this collection in support of their charity at San Diego Comic-Con, with more details to be announced soon.
- The enchantment of Witch Hat Atelier has stuck with artist Parakid and has manifested itself into this lovely print that they will be bringing with them to SDCC.

- And finally today… Thanks for hanging in there with me this whole time, I know it’s been a lot to digest. Here’s another cover reveal from 247 Comics, a remastered edition of Rob Liefeld’s Newmen #1 with inks by Bill Sienkiewicz, pencils by Lucas Lee-Garza and colors by Gregory Wright. Two versions will be available, a standard color version and a foil trade-dress free line art version.
